I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Death card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Death card upright is often misunderstood, but it is profoundly transformative. It represents endings, beginnings, and the cycles of renewal that are necessary for growth. However, this transformative energy is stalled or resisted when the Death card appears reversed. It can suggest fear of change, clinging to the past, or avoiding necessary endings that pave the way for new opportunities. The reversed Death card often points to a reluctance to relinquish old patterns, relationships, or situations that no longer serve you. It's a reminder that while change can be uncomfortable, it's also essential for growth and renewal. So, what happens when The Death appears in a reading? When Death reversed appears in a reading, it's a signal to examine what you might resist in your life. Are there situations, relationships, or habits that you're holding onto even though they no longer serve your highest good? This card asks you to reflect on what's keeping you from embracing necessary change and to consider how releasing the old could create room for the new. It may also indicate that you're feeling afraid of or overwhelmed by transformation. The reversed Death card reminds you that change is a natural part of life and that facing it with courage and trust can lead to renewal and growth. So, what is the best way to memorize the Death card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Death card moment is my struggle with changing my diet. My sweet tooth has always been a struggle for me. Still, for the last 10 months, I have made a reasonably consistent effort to make good choices around carby and sugary foods. I am not remotely happy about this, and have a mindset issue with feeling deprived. I am adopting recipes to try and create yummy treats that are sugar-free, but trust me, I still remember what a slice of chocolate cake with chocolate icing tastes like. So, I am a work in progress, and I associate this journey with the Death Card reversed. I am transforming with my actions, but my brain is still struggling. That's all for today's Death Card Reversed episode. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Hanged Man card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Hanged Man upright represents surrender, a shift in perspective, and the importance of taking time to pause and reflect. It’s about stepping back and allowing the natural flow of life to reveal the answers. When The Hanged Man appears reversed, however, this energy is blocked. It often suggests resistance to change, impatience, or a feeling of being stuck without seeing the purpose of the delay. The reversed Hanged Man points to a struggle with letting go or trusting the process. It can indicate that you’re holding onto control or resisting a shift in perspective that could bring clarity and growth. So, what happens when The Hanged Man appears in a reading? When The Hanged Man reversed appears in a reading, it’s a sign to examine where resistance is showing up in your life. This card suggests that now is the time to surrender and allow things to unfold naturally, rather than forcing outcomes. It may also indicate that you’re feeling stagnant or uninspired. The reversed Hanged Man asks you to explore what might be keeping you stuck and to consider whether a change in perspective could help you move forward. So, what is the best way to memorize the Hanged Man card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Hanged Man card moment was during a time when I had a feeling that layoffs were coming in my employee role. I was frantically trying to get in front of it. For example, I went to Employment Services to find out what options I had if I was laid off. I was also applying on any role I thought I had a chance with. I was selling possessions I no longer needed on Facebook Marketplace. Truly, I was acting like a loon. I was absolutely in the Hanged Man Reversed Eenergy because I was trying to take control of something that quite frankly, was out of control. The company may lay me off, or they may not. Yet, instead of allowing things to unfold naturally, I was choosing to take action instead of changing my perspective. That's all for today's Hanged Man Card Reversed episode. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Justice card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. Justice upright represents fairness, truth, accountability, and the importance of cause and effect. It's about understanding the consequences of our actions and striving to align with integrity and honesty. When Justice appears reversed, however, this balance is disrupted. It can indicate dishonesty, unfair treatment, or an unwillingness to accept responsibility. The reversed Justice card often points to a need to examine where accountability is lacking. It may be within yourself, or in the situations and relationships around you. It's a call to confront truths, no matter how uncomfortable, and to work toward restoring balance and fairness. When Justice reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign to reflect on your actions and decisions. The card asks you to own up to mistakes and take steps to make things right, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and integrity. It may also indicate that you're facing an unfair situation where truth and accountability are ignored. Suppose you feel that Justice is not being served. In that case, the reversed card encourages you to advocate for fairness while remaining mindful of your values and principles. So, what is the best way to memorize the Justice card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Justice card moment was ten years ago. I was in a contract with a large company, and the program manager was asking someone on my team, directly, to do something that would have gotten them fired. I will not go into the details, but it was indeed a bold ask, and this was a young person, who was working the second contract of their career. What makes this a Justice Reversed is that I had to advocate for fairness for this team member in a very unfair situation. Sadly, Justice was not served for this program manager, but the team member was not put in harm's way by executing the request, which could have been damaging to her and her career at a very young age. That's all for today's Justice Card Reversed episode. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Wheel of Fortune card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Wheel of Fortune Upright is about changes, cycles, and the natural flow of life's ups and downs. It's a card that represents luck, destiny, and the connection between our life events. You know how sometimes in life, you bump into someone you haven't seen in a decade, completely coincidentally, and it leads to a new job? Those random events sometimes can feel as though an interconnectedness exists between our life events. Now, when the Wheel of Fortune appears reversed, its energy can shift from luck and destiny, to feeling stuck in a cycle that seems like it's going nowhere. The reversed Wheel of Fortune often points to a period where you may feel as though luck is not on your side. You also may experience delays and obstacles that disrupt your plans. It's a call to examine how you react to these changes and to find new ways to adapt and realign with the ups and downs in life. So what does that mean when we see the Wheel of Fortune card reversed in a reading? When The Wheel of Fortune reversed appears in a reading, it's a sign to accept that some things are beyond your control. This card suggests that fighting against the tide may not bring the relief you seek. Instead, focus on adapting and finding ways to work with the current situation, rather than resisting it. It also points to a need to release control and trust that life is still moving in cycles that can lead to growth and change. The Wheel of Fortune reversed asks you to stay patient and keep the faith, even if it feels uncomfortable. So, what is the best way to memorize the Wheel of Fortune card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Wheel of Fortune card moment was when I was off work for six months. I couldn't seem to get traction on a new contract. It was when there was a slump in the economy, and there weren't many new contracts. I was flipping between panic and determination as I kicked up side hustles to keep money flowing. Finding those ways to adapt to the situation financially while still looking for work gave me a sense of control over a problem that was, quite frankly, out of control. What was in my control, was staying patient, positive, and productive on finding a new role, and keeping money coming in part-time. I just had to let the rest go.That's all for today's Wheel of Fortune Card Reversed episode. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening. ...

I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Hermit card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Hermit Upright represents introspection, inner guidance, and the pursuit of wisdom through solitude. It's a card that invites you to step back, reflect, and seek answers. However, when The Hermit appears reversed, this reflective energy can become isolating or imbalanced. It can suggest that you've withdrawn too deeply or feel disconnected from others and struggling to reintegrate. The reversed Hermit often signals that while solitude has its benefits, excessive withdrawal can lead to feelings of loneliness or a sense of being out of touch with the world around you.So what does that mean when we see the Hermit card reversed in a reading? When the Hermit card reversed appears in a reading, it's a sign to evaluate your relationship with solitude. This card suggests it might be time to reconnect with others and bring balance to your alone time and engagement with the outside world. It may also indicate that you must be more understood and connected to your purpose. The reversed Hermit card invites you to find a way to share your insights or reach out for support, reminding you that you don't have to go through challenges alone. So, what is the best way to memorize the Hermit card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Hermit card moment was when I was re-entering the world "in person" after COVID. It was a huge adjustment not being in the office, socializing with people outside of video, other than my husband, and having the freedom to interact with people without considering the rules or consequences. Once the restrictions were lifted and we could interact, it was again an adjustment for me. I was comfortable with not going out and working from home. Like many people I worked with, I didn't want to return to the office. Once my Hermit Card was reversed, I needed to reconnect with others for my well-being and mental health. Truthfully, I am still working on it.That's all for today's episode of the Hermit Card Reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Strength card upright embodies inner strength, patience, compassion, and the ability to navigate challenges with a calm and balanced approach. It's about harnessing courage, not through brute force, but through gentle and persistent resolve. However, when Strength appears reversed, its energy shifts to indicate struggles with confidence, feeling overwhelmed, or a lack of belief in oneself. The reversed Strength card often suggests that you may be facing self-doubt or an internal battle that's depleting your energy. It's a reminder that true strength comes from within and that reconnecting with your inner power is essential to overcome the challenges. So what does that mean when we see the Strength card reversed in a reading? When Strength reversed appears in a reading, it's a signal to check how you manage your current challenges. This card asks you to approach yourself with compassion, acknowledging that everyone experiences moments of doubt but that these do not define your potential. It suggests that you struggle to assert yourself or express your needs. The reversed Strength card invites you to find your voice and trust that standing up for yourself does not require aggressive action but faith in your inner power. So, what is the best way to memorize the Strength card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Strength card moment is how I conduct myself with a strong personality. I am not someone who responds well to super confrontational people. I am okay with direct and not sugar-coating feedback, but I feel someone can always do it with respect and compassion. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring The Chariot, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Chariot upright represents triumph and willpower. It's the inner strength you need to steer through challenges and the ability to keep your eye on the goal. However, when The Chariot appears reversed, its driven energy becomes scattered or stalled. This card suggests that obstacles may disrupt your path, or you're losing control over a situation or your motivation. The reversed Chariot can indicate a need to reassess your approach and regain focus. It's a call to evaluate whether you're moving in the right direction or if external forces are pulling you away from your goals. So what does that mean when we see The Chariot reversed in a reading? When The Chariot Reversed appears in a reading, it's a sign to reassess your approach. This card suggests that it's time to pause, gather your thoughts, and decide how to regain control over your course of action. It also indicates a need to let go of rigid control and accept that not everything can be forced or driven by sheer will. The Chariot Reversed asks you to find a balance between determination and adaptability, knowing when to push forward and when to allow things to unfold naturally. So, what is the best way to memorize The Chariot in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Chariot moment is a pattern I have with contracts that are not in flow. I do give it my all when I am in a contract. It's easy when everything flows with team collaboration, and the client is happy with the content. Most contracts are like this. However, it is easy for my Chariot to become reversed for the odd contract that is not in flow. I then need to ask myself how I can create more flow in whatever part is not working. The other option of course is to endure, and to look for another contract upon expiry of the difficult one. Once I have adapted and have made a decision on the next course of action, my chariot can become upright again. Even if the decision is to part ways at the end of the contract, I can steer through the challenges knowing that I have done everything I could. That's all for today's episode of The Chariot Reversed. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring The Lovers, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Lovers upright symbolizes deep connections, unity, and significant choices that align with one's higher values. It represents harmony, partnerships, and decisions that resonate with love and commitment. However, when The Lovers card appears reversed, it signals disharmony, conflict, or disconnection from what once felt aligned. It may also indicate a choice that feels out of balance with your true desires. The reversed Lovers can point to a period where relationships or important decisions are challenging. It may reflect inner conflict or a misalignment between your actions and values, urging you to reconnect with what's authentic. So what does that mean when we see The Lovers reversed in a reading? When The Lovers Reversed appears in a reading, it's a sign to pay attention to areas of discord in your life, whether in relationships, personal decisions, or inner conflicts. This card invites you to confront these challenges honestly and be willing to find a resolution or a new path. It may also suggest that you're grappling with self-love and acceptance. The Lovers Reversed reminds you that alignment with others begins with alignment within yourself. Are you nurturing your relationship with yourself as much as those around you? So, what is the best way to memorize The Lovers in reverse?Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Lovers moment was around challenging decisions. That, for me, was the time when I had to decide where to put my dad when he needed hospice care. I don't mean which care center, I mean what city. He lived on the east side of the country, and I lived on the west side. We are talking a 24-hour drive away. If I had moved him to my city, he would have only had me. He didn't have his other family members or friends nearby. At the time, I was in my late thirties and traveling extensively for work, which would inhibit my ability to spend regular time with him. Making that decision was for sure a reversed lover because I needed to look at what he needed and what I could do around my career. I was stuck on what I "should do" in this situation. As you can see, The Lovers card is not only about romantic relationships but all relationships, commitment, and inner conflicts. That's all for today's episode of The Lovers Reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening. #TheLovers #memorize #courtcards #learn #learning #Tarot #cards #riderwaite #...
