One of the best podcasts I have listened to.
I was gripped, Phillipa's insight and compassion is immense. I hope she does another - I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent Series, Thought Prevoking.
Hearing these real stories was very touching. It really made me feel the love within these families, and the amazing resilience to get their loved one we'll again.
I thought Phillipa was a very good host, and dealt with each family sensitively.
I think this Podcast will bring hope to others, and help to show we are not alone in our struggles.

Informative and Compassionate
Philippa Perry presents these very interesting podcasts about families who are affected by mental illness and/or addiction. I really warmed to her and loved her compassionate, supportive and open style. It was over too quickly.

Total Admiration
All the episodes are excellent.
In the real world every family has their ghosts, secrets and traumas.
If life is going well for you then be grateful but in listening to these episodes it is clear that it is the dreadful times that really illustrate our capacity to love.
The greatest gift these participants have given their family member, is to recognise that they need help, to stand with them and never give up.
I am a parent of grown children and could identify with many of the emotions.
Two episodes really took my breath away - in episode 5 on OCD, the two adult daughters were such outstanding women.
I do hope they will both always prioritise their own well-being.
Episode 7 was also so awe-inspiring. The parents are aware of a challenging road ahead but they really have already made a life changing difference to their son’s outcome.
They have rescued him and they will continue to do so.
Educational listening and l thank all the participants.

Insightful and educational
This is a brilliant set of podcasts. A wide range of subjects from drug addiction, alcoholism, anorexia to name a few. It is heartbreaking to hear what some families have gone through dealing with relatives who have these issues. Phillipa Perry is also a great therapist with a wonderful manner. When she asks her questions, she actually let's the families tell their stories, she doesn't talk over them, or talk too much. Highly recommended, and free for Audible members.
