  • EP 30: Shame and Guilt - Your worst enemies
    Nov 11 2024
Welcome to 30th Episode of 'Unfiltered with Kanika' on Audiopitara. Shame and Guilt carry the lowest vibrational frequency. Even anger and jealousy rank higher. The heaviness of these emotions is a hindrance to light hearted living. It is true that one must learn from mistakes and should not repeat them, but carrying guilt and shame for these mistakes does not help. Only EGO believes that these emotions can keep your bad behaviour in check, when actually these emotions become hard wired in your brain over time and manifest in even bigger mistakes. Therefore learn the lesson and leave these emotions. Each moment is new. God has already forgiven us for our sins because God knows what non-forgiveness can do. So forgive yourself, even if the other side has not forgiven you. I am not talking about cause and effect. Every karma will have an effect and even God cannot undo that. But to continue with guilt and shame, despite having suffered, is sinful. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • EP 29: Intelligence is our ability to change
    Nov 3 2024
Welcome to my 29th episode of 'Unfiltered with Kanika on Audiopitara' : Do you practise change ? When was the last time you did something for the first time? Life is continuous learning. Everything around us is changing and evolving. If you are not changing your mind, you are not using it. Brain cells go on auto mode when you consistently do the same thing over and over again. While this has its own advantages, it also makes our brain cells lazy. This is why when we learn something new or adopt a new behavioural pattern or new discipline we face resistance from within. No doubt consistency is needed to achieve goals, but you also need to adjust and adapt and review your plans periodically, to see what's not working. Again staying in a behavioural pattern or emotional pattern may make us feel safe but it also keeps us stuck. We need to use our brain cells to recover from setbacks, bad habits and failures. Dwelling in those will only make us waste time. Everybody fails. Fail a million times but recover faster, to ensure you get the most from life, be it career, relationship or health. • EP 28: Leadership
    Oct 27 2024
Service leadership is the only leadership I would bow down to Welcome to the 29th Episode of Audio Pitara: This Episode is a tribute to the Late Shri Ratan Tata Ji. The man who taught us what leadership truly means. It means compassion and kindness. It means having a fatherly or motherly instinct towards the masses. This instinct gives birth to trust. Trust leadership or service leadership (to me they mean the same thing) is the only form of leadership. The man who wants to serve mankind is the one mankind wants to be in service of. How can the force of nature be with someone who wants to dominate and rule? Nature never supports the egotistical. It is not because nature wants to punish the egotistical but because nature knows that the ego is not good for the holder. Nature is always loving and always serving. Love brings about the most difficult changes. Melts hardest of hearts. That is why leadership based on love and compassion goes a long way. And that is why we will always miss the Late Shri Ratan Tata JI. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
