A breathtaking missing persons thriller set under the menacing peaks of the Pyrenees. Ana y Lucía, dos amigas de once años, vecinas de un pueblo de los Pirineos, salen del colegio y se dirigen a sus casas. Nunca llegan a su destino. Nadie vuelve a verlas. Entre los restos de un coche accidentado en un desfiladero cercano, aparecen el cadáver de un hombre y una adolescente malherida y desorientada. Resulta ser Ana, una de las niñas desaparecidas tiempo atrás. Mientras todo el pueblo intenta asimilar el giro de los acontecimientos, el caso se reabre.

Ein abgelegenes Dorf in den Pyrenäen: Ana und Lucía machen sich nach der Schule auf den Heimweg. Doch die beiden 11-Jährigen kommen nie zu Hause an. Fünf Jahre später wird in einer schwer zugänglichen Schlucht in der Nähe des Dorfes ein Auto gefunden. Der Fahrer ist tot, aber ein Mädchen hat schwer verletzt überlebt. Schon bald stellt sich heraus, dass das Mädchen die inzwischen 16-jährige Ana ist. Doch von Lucía fehlt nach wie vor jede Spur. Das Dorf ist in Aufruhr.
