A Worldwalker in the Great Game, Kandis Hammond has built her character on charisma, social skills, and illusion magic, garnering her many roles in the town of Talnier, specifically secretary of the Town Council, member of the Adventurers' Guild, and head of the local bank. And with the town preparing to expand to support its growing population, her agenda is jam-packed. There are diplomatic meetings, budgets, and dungeon builds . . . as well as mysterious notes from fugitive elven bards. Plus, she's still figuring out which god is her patron.

She has some burning questions that require answers . . . As a Champion, Kandis must determine which god brought her to Latorra so she may take up their cause. Not doing so could have dire consequences.

Adjusting to life in the magical realm of Latora hasn't been easy for Kandis Hammond. But she's managed to survive the real-life role-playing game, gaining experience points and leveling up. Traveling to distant, exotic lands and meeting interesting, exciting people is all part of Kelsey's gig as a dungeon. And if she has to kill someone, well . . . they probably had it coming. Ever at her—or at least her avatar's—side is the dependable Anton, and now he's leading her on a quest across the ocean to rescue his people from slavery. That doesn't mean Kelsey can neglect the home front though. Her putative liege, Suliel, has earned a telepathic link to her, allowing the dungeon to coordinate the development of the barony.
