The Panchadasi, written by Swami Vidyaranya, is a foundational text of Advaita Vedanta that systematically explains the nature of ultimate reality (Brahman), the individual self (Atman), and the illusory world (Maya). Divided into 15 chapters, it explores the discrimination of reality, the illumination of truth through meditation, and the bliss that arises from Self-realization. Combining philosophy, logic, and spiritual practice, the text serves as a guide for seekers to understand and experience the unity of the self with the infinite Brahman, leading to liberation (moksha).

Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches the Mundaka Upanishad which one of the major Upanishads belonging to the Atharva Veda. Mundaka means ''shaved'' like a shaved head. The teachings revealed in this Upanishad are meant to leave the student clean, or shaved of the veil of ignorance. Indeed, the study of this Upanishad has been traditionally confined to the shaven-heads, or the sannyasins, who have renounced everything and devoted themselves exclusively to contemplation.

Dṛg-Dṛśya-Viveka is a text in Advaita Vedanta philosophy that explores the distinction between the “seer” (Dṛg) and the “seen” (Dṛśya). It is attributed to Bharatī Tīrtha or Vidyaranya Swami, who lived around 1350. The text contains 46 slokas and also provides an overview of samadhi, centering on savikalpa and nirvikalpa, and the identity of Atman and Brahman.

The Katha Upanishad is one of the primary Upanishads, and is embedded in the last eight short sections of the Katha school of the Krishna Yajurveda. The text is divided into two chapters, each consisting of three sections. The first chapter is considered to be of older origin than the second. The Upanishad tells the story of a young boy named Nachiketa who meets Yama, the god of death, and engages in a philosophical discussion with him about the nature of the self, knowledge, and liberation.
