A narrative book showing the interaction of citizens in a culture preparing to expand their proprietary expertise beyond their current city state.

Road construction and guerrilla attacks are the backdrop for growing pains in the relationships of all venture members, especially between Belak and his little sister, Louise. Triceratops power moves blasted rock and raises wagons and oxen up cliffs with block and tackle. Military ambushes are executed with bows and crossbows, swords and pikes. The caravan is assisted by a cave-dwelling mountain clan.

These six plays are Japanese classics from the 14th century and are presented in the order of a traditional Nō programme. Nō, the Japanese word for "skill", is a form of Japanese musical drama that originated in the eighth century, and is the oldest major theatre art that still survives today. Alongside Nō plays were kyōgen plays, which were short works typically inserted as a comedic interlude of sorts between the more classical Nō performances.

There are a number of wonderful people who contributed in countless ways to my journey in writing this book. My gratitude goes to my family, who shared my time and provided love and support (my wonderful children, Daniel, Tinysha, and Bernadette, as well as their mom), and of course to a God who gives you an assignment that is bigger than you are.
