Charles (“Chuck”) Rosenberg’s latest novel (his sixth) is the alt-history political thriller THE DAY LINCOLN LOST (now a finalist for the 2020 Sidewise Alternative History Award), following up on his political caper novel, THE TRIAL AND EXECUTION OF THE TRAITOR GEORGE WASHINGTON (a finalist for the Sidewise Alternative History Award). These novels ask: “What if” certain historical events had happened a little differently? What if Washington had been kidnapped and taken back to England to be tried for high treason? What if unexpected events had caused Lincoln to lose the presidential election of November 6, 1860? Rosenberg also writes legal thrillers, of which there are so far four, including his debut novel, DEATH ON A HIGH FLOOR, and its sequel, LONG KNIVES, both of which became Amazon best-sellers. Prior to turning to writing fiction, Chuck was the credited legal script consultant to three prime time television shows: L.A. Law, The Practice and Boston Legal, as well as the TV show The Paper Chase (Showtime). During the O.J. Simpson criminal trial, he was one of two on-air legal analysts for E! Entertainment Television's live coverage of the trial. He also provided commentary for E!'s coverage of the Simpson civil trial, where he occupied E’s seat in the courtroom. He has taught extensively as an adjunct law professor. He is a graduate of Antioch College and Harvard Law School.
