Absolutely hilarious

I loved this book and it helped make sense of the Anglo-French relationship. Wonderfully written and performed!

Enjoyable and interesting

Fun book with lots of interesting factoids about Anglo-French history and some of the urban myths that exist. I definitely learned some things in terms of historical narrative that I was unaware of and also enjoyed the humorous way in which I learned some pub quiz trivia. It's of course biased but not horrifically so and the book is aiming to be a comedic group of facts strung together as a historical narrative and it also goes into detail about some of France's great achievements

Totally enjoyed it

It's a bit like a long version of Horrible History. Learning through the use of humour. Kept me amused for several otherwise mundane journeys up and down the M6.

My Favourite Book and it's a great listen too.

As a vote Remainer listening to this beautifully read explanation of why we have no option but to Leave helps with the pain and will help with the future angst.

Very Funny and enlightening.

A quick run through of a 1000 years. I learned how we annoyed the French and how we still annoy the French.

funny and broad

This book must be a labour of love as it covers so much history and is so well researched. Thoroughly enjoyable, sometimes a little provocative, but highly entertaining and educational

Stunning performance by Justin. Well written with many funny quips. I personally can't stand the French so this was a joy to listen to :D
