Exeptionally well written book
I listened to this book because I had heard about Endometriosis before but was not sure where? but after getting through a couple of chapters realized it was from an ex-girlfriend that had just been in hospital to have a fallopian tube & half an ovary removed. she was in immense pain after coming home she had been diagnosed with having Endometriosis. At the time neither of us had a clue what it was. I certainly do now, albeit 10 years too late.
After listening to this well-written well explained documentation of the Keys life with Endometriosis. Now I feel really bad about how I treated my ex, not intentionally but through ignorance.
So if you are looking for a book on Endometriosis I highly recommend you get a copy of this book, you are going to learn so much.

Great information
This is really tricky subject for us men to understand but this audiobook does a great job of shining a light on it. Despite the fact that endometriosis can occur at any point in a woman's life, there are still many misconceptions regarding this condition. This has helped me understand what my partner is going through.
A great audiobook, very well narrated, and easy to listen to, if you are looking for information on Endometriosis I definitely recommend listening to this Audiobook!

Excellent in depth info
I had a very basic knowledge of endometriosis and count myself quite lucky that I read this book before any situation revolving around endometriosis comes my way. Surprisingly some very good tips re relationships and empathy even if that’s not at all intended by the author!

Great tips for men!
Endometriosis can happen to women at any time in our lives so it is important to be educated in the subject. What's great about this book is that it gives men so many different types of tips. It starts with understanding the disease and communication. Then onto emotional support and how a good sexual relationship is still very possible. The book really focuses on strengthening the relationship through love and support. Being such a serious condition, emotional and practical support is so paramount to getting through it so I'm a big fan of how the author and narrator emphasise this.

Be the husband she needs you to be...
Dealing with female-specific diseases is a trial for every woman who finds herself suffering with it, requiring courage, determination, and knowledge. Endometriosis is often overlooked compared to other serious conditions such as ovarian or breast cancers, but the suffering it causes can be just as severe, and it affects an even larger percentage of women around the world. The struggle for a woman alone requires a strengh that I can barely imagine, but a married woman shares this trial with her husband, and men must be prepared to help their true love through this struggle. A marriage is a partnership like no other, and we are truly in the battle together. Michael and Porsha Keys exemplify this partnership perfectly, sharing their wisdom, experience, and love with all readers. This amazing book will guide men and their wives through what may be one of the darkest time of their lives, and does so with empathy, warmth, and encouragement. A fantastic resource for the most difficult times. And, as always, the amazing KC Wayman proves yet again why he is one of the most in-demand narrators in the audiobook industry. Highly recommended.

A valuable first hand resource
This audiobook is one of its kind on such an important topic. Most of the book on Endometriosis is written for women and rarely for caregiver, spouse or partners. It's empathy attitude helps men /partners to understand this illness better and there are lots of valuable coping method from first hand experiences from author. Would recommend to any husband/ partners who wife suffered from Endometriosis.

Great resource!
The information provided is really helpful to educate men on Endometriosis! It's not common for men to know about this issue more than women so this is a good resource that brings awareness to men and make them better, more reliable partners. It touches on the facts of Endometriosis and how it affects a woman's body, how to cope, tips for men, and more. Highly recommended to men whose partner suffers from Endometriosis and to those that need awareness!

Great tips for husbands on understanding your wife
I was never really up to speed on endometriosis before and this book explained a lot of the reasons and issues that I experienced with my wife, through the early years. She always had problems with her periods and didn't conceive for 17 years. Once we finally got a diagnosis from the GP, we were told that she had to live with the problem but nothing was brought to my attention about how I had to deal with it. Since she has now had a hysterectomy, she no longer has the issue, but it would have been great to have this book years ago! If your wife or girlfriend has problems, then by all means read this book to get a better idea of how you can handle it.
