Summary

Jason is living a perfect life 40 years in the past, but will another time traveler and the evil Colney family destroy his new life?

The second audiobook in the time travel series of the extraordinary life of Jason Apsley.

Five months through his new life 42 years in the past, Jason's world in 1977 is simply perfect. After taking his second chance he's now no longer the miserable, opinionated bugger of his previous existence in 2019. Can life get any better?

But will that one fateful day turn his new awesome life upside down? Jason's traveling companion on the day he died in 2019 appears on his doorstep in 1977. How could this happen?

Will the arrival of Martin cause Jason's new life to unravel? As the chaos ensues, his new loved ones start to question his very existence.

And why has Martin traveled back?

Jason desperately tries to hold his new life together as the complications mount, whilst the evil Colney family--a family that Jason discovers he's inexplicably entwined with--continue their reign of terror in Fairfield.

Will Jason prevail? Or will the demons of his future destroy his new past?

Great story! Super narration too

I enjoyed this story. I love a good time travel tale and this hit the spot. Just the right amount of humour too. I grew up in the late 70s early 80s and I can remember the times well. Thankyou. Here’s to the next one hopefully x

Loved book 2 in the series

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, especially the characters and the memories of life in the 70's and 80's. Very easy listening on the daily commute, and the narrator is excellent. I'm looking forward to more Adrian Cousins on Audible.

Great sequel

Sequel lived up to the original, love Don from next door, probably the best character in the whole series. Story repeats itself a couple of times, But I liked the narrator a lot, funny accents really help guide the story along, seen some people moan, I think he's great and works with the material he's been handed well. Rather that than some monotone voice.

Great ending and just discovered that book 3 is available, so I'll be jumping on that soon.
