great follow up to first book!
connection already there from previous book, love the characters and the continued stories. easy to listen to and really enjoyable and heart warming. one of my favourite book series!!

Very enjoyable second book in series
Somewhat unbelievable plot but, if you just go with the flow of the genre, it is a great follow up to the first book.

Excellent #2
This was so much better than I expected. Kate’s character development was great and the trip to Mexico was different enough from the one to Hawaii in the previous novel to work well. Now I have to get the 3rd novel in the series.

friends to lovers
poor Kate has loved best friend mo for 16yrs, unknowing mo loves her too, mo has had countless girlfriends, while Kate was in closet engaged to a man, but Kate had the darkest of secrets and other anxieties, Inc. food related, all of which kept her from coming clean to mo.
they have great banter along with the 3rd friend from college, who has tried for 16yrs to get them together whilst keeping both thier secrets.
deeply distressing but with a warm touch that can only make you wish for happiness.
2nd in series but could be standalone
loved the narration too
