Summary

Brilliantly read
So happy this has made it to an audiobook.
Great storyline and really well read by Rupert.
Looking forward to the rest of them making it to audio too.

Wow. Took a punt and what a winner.
Absolutely loved this book. Story and narration were top notch. It wasn’t an author I knew but a genre I’m fond of so took a gamble and came up trumps. I loved every minute of this audio book, so well written, nuanced and smart. Have immediately downloaded the next two in the series and am starting the second book straight away. Cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely Brilliant
A wonderful story. Hugely engaging and brilliantly told. A mixture of fantasy and sci fi it was hard to put down. I can’t wait for the next instalment

Wildly imaginative time travel adventures
This author has a vivid and colourful imagination. I somewhat struggled to comprehend the settings and got annoyed with the coded dates, but otherwise there’s so many different little adventures that are very inspired. Revolves around a rough London teen who’s on the poor and criminal end of society, until he mixes with a time travel agency, so to speak. This story makes use of many cultures to provide varied twists throughout.

Great Twist on Time Travel, Excellently Narrated
I loved the characterisations and distinct voices used to bring the people to life. Generally brilliant use of accents (with only one slightly dodgy Italian which made me grin rather than groan.) The story makes the magic, science and mystery of interfering in great historical and deeply personal alternate timelines sufficiently believable without bogging down the story. The charming rogue turned fish-out-of-water is done well enough to be fresh, engaging and helps drive the story. I already placed a pre-order for the sequel but may just have to strap a time control watch on my wristand go for a spin in my past so I can discover the story all over again.
