Summary

Time is running out.

The Eschaton crises are converging.

Josh may be the only one who can save them, but he's trapped in the future.

The third book in the original Infinity Engines series, Eschaton continues this action-packed, dystopian time travel adventure.

The Oblivion Order is falling apart, and the time line is beginning to unravel. Dalton's obsession with the Djinn threatens to bring down the continuum and the only way to stop him is to resolve the riddles of the Eschaton Cascade and find Josh's father.

Follow Caitlin and Josh as they discover the origins of the Order and the future that the founder was aiming to avoid.

A truly perfect story

I have never fell in love with a series as quickly as I have with this one. The intertwining stories culminating in a brilliant climax - true perfection.

Performance was amazing!

Story was very good, although rushed and lacking details in some areas and fast paced at times where you had to concentrate on what was happening.
Looking forward to the next in the series.

Great story. Just complex enough

Loved the trilogy and the performance was sublime

The ending was paradoxical and lends itself to more stories from Josh and Caitlin. I know this is the end of trilogy but hope these characters make a return in future books

Looking forward hugely to May when the next Infinity Engines book hits Audible.

Enjoyable but lesser than the first two!

I very much enjoyed the first book, gripping and kept me listening. Number two was good too. But this one has rather lost its way. A less compelling story which has not held my attention as well, but I’m still pleased to have completed the three of them. Recommended if you have read one and two first.

Again, brilliant narration

I’ve listened to all three of these so far one after another, very enjoyable and such excellent narration. It’s almost like a full cast play - but better. Next one not out for a few weeks!

Excellent

Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Would make a brilliant TV series from all the books

Decided that this series is going to be endless …

… so I’m giving up now.
Don’t think I can sustain my concentration long enough to take in the increasingly convoluted plot over the next however many books, which so far have all ended, “to be continued”. To be fair, I’m not really a sci-fi person anyway so I imagine other people may well love it.

This series started so well

The series was an immediate hit for me. Book One was well planned, executed and intelligent. Then by book two, the author seems to throw out any intelligence and planning and just throws you into a whirlwind of plot holes, chaos and dull characters. There’s absolutely no structure remaining and Josh, who was once an interesting character is now this superhuman, dull and unremarkable boy with no interesting dialogue and seems to never be in any danger. Too many things happen in this book without explanation, or if it is explained then it moves on so fast that you have absolutely no idea where you are if you so much as stop listening for more than five seconds. My apologies if you love the series, if you do then great! Enjoy it. Love the narrator, story is well written but narrative is so dull. I give up on this series.

Total Rubbish

Stuck with theses books through the 1st 3 based on the good reviews but can honestly say that these are the poorest books I've ever listened to. So confusing and hard to follow the plot ,such as it is.
