Summary
DI Nick Dixon is on the hunt for a vicious serial killer, following a trail of fingerprints and DNA across west Somerset.
When the body of a young woman is found on the building site of a nuclear power station, work grinds to a halt. The body bears all the hallmarks of yet another random murder at the hands of the escaped killer. Then Dixon finds a motive.
Fighting for his place on the Major Investigation Team, he soon uncovers a family’s desperate search for the truth, exposing a web of corruption and death that will shake the billion-pound construction project to its very foundations. But who can be trusted when so much money is at stake?
Can Dixon find the killer under intense pressure from the top of government? And, can he do it before anyone else has to die?

Another page turner
Yes Damien you have done it again - another page turner, though I tend to listen to the audiobook instead of reading while walking the dogs along the beach or elsewhere. Good story and research. Hope there is a wedding in the next book.

Up there with the best
I have read quite a few of Damien Boyd’s and this, in my opinion, was the best. The plot was well laid out through out without giving the conclusion too quickly. Loved the listen.

Great book...., again!
Yet another great book from Damien Boyd. It has all the contents for an exciting read particularly if you are a resident of Brent Knoll.
When is the next book???

Another great story
All of Damien Boyd's stories have added interest if you live local to the settings but they are enjoyable even without knowing the area as he is so descriptive with his writing. I like that he follows on the story quickly after the previous one and used mostly the same characters, introducing the new ones as they react with the others dependent on the story line. Beyond The Point takes us on a journey to catch a serial killer with all the expected twists and turns but there are sub plots that reveal themselves as you go along. The poisoning of Monty was a bit of a shock, I will not reveal the outcome of this or the story but would urge anyone who had not read any of Damien's books to do so. My only slight niggle, not with the story but the audio production, is that the narrator had changed from the previous books and it took me a little while to get used to the different style and accents, I soon forgot this as the story progressed.
