About this listen

Trapped in a far-off galaxy, Liam Hoffen receives news that a massive Kroerak fleet has found its way to Earth. Knowing an invasion is imminent stuns our explorers, but there's nothing they can do when they discover the interplanetary Trans Loc system has been shut down to stem the tide of invading bugs.

As if things couldn't get worse, Intrepid is then seized by an overzealous alien government, and the crew is relegated to the backwater planet - Zuri. When a chance discovery that could end Earth's desperate war comes to light, our heroes find they will stop at nothing to return home. That is if there is anything left.

Blockade Runner, the eleventh installment of the Privateer Tales saga, is an exciting mix of fleet combat, mechanized infantry battles and non-stop space opera action. While this completes the Kroerak story arc, it exposes a new struggle against a corrupt government - the Confederation of Planets.

Liam is great at turning a bad situation around

Things look bleak for Liam and the team as there ship is stolen out from under them, but even that doesn't keep them down for long as Liam has a plan and it the first step is getting another ship.

Well read and another great story in the privateer tales universe.

Fitting End

How the crew of the Hotspur ever managed to survive, I do not know. For all the bravado, I found Liam to be on the naive side for my liking and doubt I would have put my life in his hands.

That said, all’s well that ends well, but it was a rollercoaster of a very enjoyable ride

Such an easy listen.

I really enjoyed the latest installment. They cannot be made fast enough, I just want the story to continue. The more the crew continue on in their adventures the more it feels like a crew I would to be a part of!

Great story

I read the book and tried the audible, great narration and well paced. Enjoyed the story much more second time. Great story, well read and fantastic characters and world building.
