As a young man on a classic cross-country motorcycle trip, he found himself stranded at a rest area in the Blue Ridge Mountains. To pass the time, he read a tattered copy of Hedda Gabler, and in a flash he found himself face-to-face with his original calling.

'Find what you love and do it as well as you can'
Fabulous anecdotes and great advice from a national treasure who knows he's made a brilliant life from humble beginnings. It's beautifully read by the great man himself and what comes through more than fame and success is the importance of family, doing what you love, being decent and having a bloody good time. Love him and love the book.

Wonderful insights and delightfully rendered
Michael Caine’s books have been, to me, some of the most wise and entertaining I’ve listened to / read. In a world of missing men to look up to and gain invaluable insights, this book is most welcomed. Never does Michael brag or boast - just openly and honestly says it like is. Thank you once again Mr Caine!
