Summary

After years of hard work, Dr. Charly McKenna finally has it all:

A prosperous career as a dermatologist? Check.

Spacious apartment overlooking Central Park? Check.

Handsome lawyer husband? Double check.

Then, one night a bullet rips through the right side of her skull and she loses everything.

As Charly struggles to recover from her brain injury, she begins to realize that the events of that fateful night are trapped in the damaged right side of her brain. Now, she must put the jigsaw pieces together to discover the identity of the man who tried to kill her...before he finishes the job he started.

Uneventful

Really like this author, but this book was just dull I'm sorry to say. No twists, no action or any thrilling parts, predictable from the start, too many boring and pointless conversations between characters. Would not describe this book as thriller at all.

I really enjoyed listening to this, another great creation from Frieda McFadden. I have only just discovered this author and this is my seventh listen!

Amazing story, very touching.

I loved this book so much, it is so well written and the story holds so much feeling in it. I really felt like I knew the characters and they were a part of my life for the few days it took me to listen to this. I will listen to this story again, as it was so very interesting 5 stars all round.

More melodrama than thriller

Started well enough, as did 'Never Lie', but doubt that I will venture further into McFaddens novels. Without giving away the plot, there is little I can say to recommend you spend a valuable credit as this author creates such weak female characters that it takes little time for me to become irritated. Despite their good looks and achievements, they are fraught with self-doubt and a cringing lack of backbone. Women who achieve are rarely like this - and as for the villains of the piece - they are always men and so obviously filled with evil intent that any woman would have to be spineless and stupid not to have seen it and run a mile. As for the narration.....really not good, which does not help!!! However, if melodrama is your bag, then this might be more to your liking than it was to mine.
