Lot of practical advice on tackling social anxiety
The book starts by telling stories of young people with anxiety challenges and how they overcame them, followed by a summary of concrete steps to take (and discussed in more detail later in the book) – e.g. meditation, scheduling negative thoughts, debunking your inner critic. I love that the book presents myths and facts about introversion, insecurity and social anxiety first. Then it goes into the necessary mind shift and practices and exercises to do in order to better deal with social anxiety and become a more confident version of yourself. Good, friendly, easy to follow narration.

I really enjoyed listening to this book – so motivational, so inspiring! It reminded me of the importance of focusing on myself - my values, uniqueness, my definition of success. I like the idea of the vision board which is often advised but the information in this book has helped me to appreciate their value in reducing/eliminating social anxiety. I now understand the impact of assumptions, labels and misconceptions.

Like talking to a friend
I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator is so engaging and seems like someone who would be your friend. The book is positive, relatable and full of life examples and stories from people who have dealt with social anxiety issues and managed to make it better. They definitely resonated with me. I've already been working on some of the tips. Would definitely recommend.
