brilliant and insightful
This is a refreshing view point of the life of Muhammad (saws) through children's eyes. The work presents stories and events that may already be familiar to the listener in such a way that gives a fresh insight to its significance on how these events impacted the lives of the children that surrounded the Muhammad (saws). We are introduced to the companions/contemporaries of Muhammad (saws) such as Anas ibn Malik, Aisha, Fathima, Ali, his grand children Hassan & Hussein and many others are get a glimpse at their own interactions with the Prophet (saws) as children and their reflections on these events.
Not only does the enthusiasm for the author's passion of the subject come through during the lecture series but he also enthuses and engages the listener by relating the importance of nurturing our with love, kindness, playfulness and energy such as was the example of Muhaammad (saws).

Excellent guidance on upbringing pious children
This is an invaluable resource for the parents concerned about how to raise successful children with a sound character and due focus on pleasing the Creator. Helps identify own gaps and learn from the sahabah (as) who learnt directly from the Prophet (pbuh)

Insightful and educational
Looking through the cameras of children shows how Prophet Muhammad pbuh broke stereotypes and built blocks better than anyone else.
Jazakallahu khayran Dr. Hesham.

A different perspective of the time of the Prophet
A very appropriate book which demonstrated a different perspectives of the Prophet (peace be upon him), with humanity and love being at the fore. Also, a brilliant expose of how to raise children appropriately and for them
to be well-balanced in all aspects of life

Novel approach to the seerah
This is an excellent listen in as much as it is a refreshing approach to the lessons from the life of the Prophet SAW. It provides a unique insight into his interactions with children and how we can emulate him in our social lives. The presenter does over-dramatise at times and often goes off-point, stating facts that, while true, area not very helpful or indeed practical. Nevertheless, I commend his initiative at sharing his thoughts, feelings and emotions about the other equally important aspects of Muslim life as learned from the best of creation - a welcome break from the almost monotonous narratives heralded by battle cries. Jazaahullahu khairan.

Very engaging and relatable
This book was recommended to me while doing a research on young companions - I bought it without thinking twice. Before I finished listening to the first chapter, I was hooked.
The author (who is also the narrator) used an easygoing, humorous and practical approach to the narration of the material. I learned, unlearned and relearned. I fell in love with the best man who ever lived - Rasullulah (SAW), his companions (RA) and their lifestyle of eeman and submission to Allah (SWT).
I recommend this book to anyone who's involved in the upbringing of children - whether as a teacher, parent, guardian, writer, childminder etc; married or unmarried.
There's just so much to learn. I plan to listen to it again and again in Shaa Allah. Just yesterday, I shared some gems from the book with sisters at a coffee morning. And will continue recommending it to everyone I know. May Allah increase the author in knowledge and reward his humble effort.
