History is Fun!
This book is a very engaging and educational dive into the Civil War designed for those middle school for kids. It tells stories of real life heroes which hopefully spark more curiosity to learn more about this interesting period of history. The book makes history fun! Also great for inspiring, or current , history buffs like myself!

Salute to the young heroes!
When I was a kid, I wouldn't say I liked history because I hated memorizing boring years and facts. But the book 'Civil War Chronicles' shows how engaging a history book can be. The narrator's calming voice brought me back to those glorious old days, and I couldn't help thinking what I would have done if I were in the situation of the little heroes. These stories are educational and inspiring, and they help the next generation understand what their peers have done for the freedom of our country. A must-listen for the kids!

Great fun book
A great fun way for kids to learn about the civil war. It has some great stories of wartime heroes that they can admire and learn about. The structure of the book makes it really easy to memorise the facts and provides fun way for kids to learn about a part of their history!

Very informative & kid-friendly
What a great collection of inspiring stories for kids! I really enjoyed how the author put in modern day references to help the young audience better relate to the enormity of what these people did. It really brought home the message of how brave and amazing they were. Great listen!

History can be fun for kids
I love it when people can make learning history fun for kids. When I was a kid I hated history. I thought it was just some boring thing that happened a long time ago. Why would I possibly need to think about it? But now I’m older and I love history. And I think it’s important for kids to learn, but they often don’t retain the things they learn in school because they think it’s boring. This book did a good job of taking history and presenting it in a way that kids enjoy and will remember.

Great look into history for our son
Short, sweet and full of fascinating history about the civil war and how it all started. Pitched at the perfect level for our son, who is 9 years old, and it was full of funny moments, sad moments and all narrated excellently throughout. His favourite chapter was about how it all started and was useful for an upcoming assignment he has at school as well as it has lots of usable information for his history lessons!
