About this listen
My name is Friday St. Salvatore and I’m what’s known as a living vampire.
But just means I haven’t died yet. Once that happens...I become the real deal.
Except, I’m not really sure if being undead is what I want.
I like being human. Or well, humanish.
Unfortunately for me, I was just kidnapped by hunters who are hell bent on playing their sick death games.
Me and all the other supernaturals they gathered are just the newest trophy’s they plan to hunt - and kill - for sport.
The only way out of here?
To escape.
But first, I have to get past the sexy as sin hunter that’s been eyeing me.
Too bad he’s the one supposed to kill me twice.

Good story, dodgy narration
I really enjoyed the story, it sucked me in nicely and I felt it was well written. The narrator is fine when generally reading but I found her character voices very distracting and ridiculous.

A lot of action
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
3.5 - 4 ⭐️ stars. I’m a little undecided how I feel about this book. Bits of it I really love and bits seem a little rushed and full of too much action that my head can’t fully wrap around so much of it. That’s a personal opinion though I know some love all action all the time. I just wanted sometimes it to slow down a little so we could actually learn a little more about the characters and the worlds they live in. The story as a whole was a paranormal sort of hunger games which I really did enjoy.
It’s definitely worth a try for the action and the plot.

you don't always get what you want
Friday St. Salvatore is not like any person that you may know . Living Vampire is all she knows and she likes being ordinary girl going to college enjoying her life . When she get kidnap by psychotic group of hunters to be entered in games . Friday does all she can to stay alive. The characters were well written and I was hooked form the first page till the end.I can't wait to see how this story goes on

Twilight, underworld with a dash of hunger games
Great book. Was really gripped with story and characters. The narrators done a good job. I was really gripped after 10mins. I will 100% be getting the two books in the series. The only thing that stopped the story getting 5* was I thought it was not quite finished. I know there are 2 more in the series but I think there could have gone abit deeper into the story. Have a feeling all 3 books would make a great one book collection. But either way can't wait for the next books.

new to the author
I was lucky enough to receive a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest review. This has in no way changed how I feel about this book. On to the review:
This book was written brilliantly. It was written in a way where it sucked you in right from the beginning. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal

great storyline
I'm normally super tired of reading all these different versions of vampires but I really liked this one because of the undead piece and the hunger games feel. I recommend it to anyone. also, great narrator. itd be kind of cool to see Sanders point of view in the second book with a male narration for his chapters.

Exciting start to the series.
I received this book free for an honest review.
Friday St. Salvatore is what is known as a living vampire which means she hasn’t died yet but when she does she will become a real vampire. She is just like an ordinary girl going to college enjoying her life and defying her parents wishes to become a real vampire then she is kidnapped. When she wakes up she finds herself in a cage surrounded by other supernaturals and a psychotic group of hunters who use them for their death games. Each supernatural has to try and out run the hunters in their sick death games and they are leaving Friday until last , however they don’t reckon on Fridays determination not to become a real vampire and give then the satisfaction of having them kill her twice.
I really enjoyed listening and the characters got you involved in the story I found myself hoping Friday survived and brought down a few of the psychos as well. Aleksi Graves was excellent at the narration and I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Absolutely Brilliant
Adams family meets hunger games. Well developed, gripping story that leaves you wanting more. Full of twists and turns.
Friday is such a relatable lead, bringing 'normal' in to the paranomal universe. The narrator was a fantastic choice. She fit with the tone of the book and was really easy to listen to.
I can't wait to read the next installment! Call me an addict

Great story
The pace of this book is perfect. It has just enough action to keep you on the edge of your seat without losing any of the plot.
I enjoyed both Friday and Zander's characters as well as their building relationship. I'm looking forward to learning more about Zander and how the hunters manifested their abilities.
