Summary
The Bible contains guidance that can be applied to one's own growth. One's perspective on life and one's attitude toward it both shift as a result. A new way of life is guaranteed when you study the Bible! According to God, the Scriptures are useful for a variety of purposes, including teaching, reproof, correction, and training. Teaching is demonstrating what is appropriate, demonstrating what is true, and setting the norm for others to follow, convicting us of our sin by reproof, which is pointing us what is wrong. That's the way to get things right. Training is the means through which one can continue to live in accordance with God's will.
Let's put what we've learned from the Bible to use for ourselves now that we realize its value. You will find instruction in the Bible on how to properly behave, speak, and think. It offers information on people, places, and things that should be avoided. Your actions, words, and attitude can all be improved with the guidance provided here. It helps you to maintain a mindset that is congruent with God's thinking. This is something that God considers to be "profitable" for you. There are positive outcomes, cost savings, increased satisfaction, and monetary value. It looks like a book that would be worth your time to listen to, doesn't it?
Let's take a look at the advantages of reading the Word of God now that we have a better understanding of the Bible's function and relevance. What kind of an impact do the benefits have? When we take a look at the Word of God, we might ask the question, "What are the benefits of knowing and comprehending the Word of God?" The Bible makes use of a wide range of metaphors to explain the Word of God and the many blessings that come from studying it. You will emerge from this experience with a new nature that is superior to the evil nature you currently possess.
Ps. 119:105 lamp or light - to guide you down the journey of life so that you can get where you're going. It offers direction so that you will know where to walk and what to view even when the path ahead of you is obscured by darkness. No need to speculate! Put an end to aimlessly wandering through existence! No dead ends! How many of us have actually run into a brick wall? Feeling pinned in? Looking to God, we don't have to feel that way at all. He is in the driver's seat. He is leading the pack! He is accustomed to traveling that route. If we make it a habit to regularly take in His Word, we will see all of these symbols fulfilled in our lives.
A new way of life is guaranteed when you read the Bible! We have an understanding of the goal and benefits of reading the Word of God, therefore the question "Now what?" may arise.
James 1:22-25 Inadequate to listen to, read, or study. God asks us to put into practice what we have discovered or been told. If we do not respond to what the Bible teaches us, the Word of God will not improve our lives. When the Holy Spirit counsels us to steer clear of certain areas of our lives or to make adjustments to certain aspects of our lives, we are obligated to respond. And we have a responsibility to acknowledge that he is guiding us toward a more enlightened way of being. How many of us waste time arguing, disputing, playing tug-of-war, or postponing with God? How many of us spend time playing tug-of-war with God? So, tell me, what exactly are your plans? How do you intend to put the information you've learned to use? What kinds of things do you have planned for today? The Bible contains a variety of assurances and benefits that are reserved for people who have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ.
