Summary
God the Father, Son, and Spirit: three persons cooperating in sovereign wisdom, power, and love to achieve the salvation of a chosen people, the Father electing, the Son fulfilling the Father's will by redeeming, and the Spirit carrying out the Father and Son's mission by renewing.
We are too deeply mired in sin to ever partake on our own in God's immense spiritual blessings. Instead, God picked us out of his mercy and then made his choice effective. Secondly, he facilitated our salvation by sending the Lord Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Then, he enabled us to respond to him by sending the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to the gospel's truth and glory. Thus, all of our blessings must be traced back to God's sovereign election of us through Jesus Christ. When all of creation appears before him at Christ's second coming, all heavenly and terrestrial creatures will laud God for his indescribably marvelous plan of salvation.
