Summary
What happens when she's had enough?
Lake Monroe has given in to her childhood tormentor too many times. She knows it, he knows it, and even their enemies know it. When he returned after being found guilty of a crime he didn't commit - a crime he thought she set him up for, he returned darker than ever, demanding her body and her submission. To survive him, she knew she had to give in to fear once more or suffer the deadly consequences....
But Lake experienced what it was like to submit to the dark and demanding boy who invaded her dreams. Now she'll experience what it's like to fight him.
What happens when he wants more?
Keiran Masters has a past that is both shocking and dark. Once enslaved, he now has demons he can't escape - demons that have followed him for 10 years, demons he blames his beautiful obsession for. He promised to make her pay. He promised to make her break....
But when Keiran conquered her body and tasted her submission, he found a new addiction instead - one he has no intentions of giving up.
As secrets unfold,
Identities are revealed,
Danger closes in,
And they both discover what it really means to fear....

Addicted
I was hooked on the book after the first chapter, I was really enjoyed the first book but I was disappointed we didn’t see Kieran’s perspective, so I absolutely loved getting to see what goes on in Kieran head. I just want more of these two!

Addicted to Kieran
Wow, wow WOW!!!
I love the dual POV in this book and Teddy Hamilton as Kieran is absolute PERFECTION
!! So many plot twists and my my heart was gripped throughout.
BB Reid writes her heart out, I’m not new to by anyone means but I can’t believe this is her debut series!!
Okay, so Lake kinda peed me off a little this book, and I’m annoyed at myself for even thinking that after Kieran’s beastly cruelty to her. But I’m all on board and completely understand her. I guess understanding the darkness that bred the monster in Kieran opened me up to me.
5 savage stars!!

I'm addicted, and addiction can be soooooo good!
I have gone through every book in this series like a lost person in the desert would go through bottles of water!
The start is kinda dark, the sex is raw and well explained, with lots of "scary" hurdles and antics along the way and ending with a beautiful HEA!
I REALLY DESPERATELY WANT MORE!!!
I love that this book goes back to following the original characters because they veered off for a while to their friends and family.
If you don't mind raw honesty, darker than dark history and intensity (including lots of intense sex), plus you enjoy a different type of romance to the usual white Knight and flowers, then this will knock your socks off! I love dark romances and even darker characters with an erotic touch so when I started to listen to this series I was hooked!
I've recently started downloading more from this author and I have to say that I have put them in my list of favourites! So I would be advising any "none-snowflakes" to have a listen. If the first book is too much, then please don't give up, because once love is in the air it gets sweeter..... Still intense but definitely much more loving between the characters.
I just hope and pray that this isn't the end of the story and I have more to sink my teeth into.... Or would that be my ears??? Hmmmm.... Anyway, I have fallen in love and maybe have a new obsession.
Enjoy xx

Well I’m hooked!
Books 1 reeled me on a hook and book 2 was no different. It was even better with both Ava and Teddy narrating bring Keiran to life. The only thing I would change is their ages. I felt it would have been better suited if these kids where in college by rather than high school but other than that I loved it👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brilliant
Love this , did drag a little bit , but fantastic story . Lake was really annoying in this book , very mixed signals and Kieran was easier to relate too . Complete contrast, and role reversal to the first book , where initially Lake was portrayed as empathetic. Really enjoyed it .

The story continues...
I really enjoyed this book, the pace and descriptive style were as volatile as the first! I did get a little frustrated with Keiran and Lake's constant back and forth but know this is their power/emotional struggle.
That aside, this is a brilliantly written sort of conclusion to Keiran and Lake's story and my god it was explosive!
The addition of Teddy Hamilton to the performance really enhanced things even more! Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton combine brilliantly!

Good listen
I really enjoyed this series despite the horrendously irritating FMC. She's so annoying and self righteous and does such stupid things, I found her severely unlikeable. Which in turn makes the actions and reactions of the MC unbelievable at times.
Anyway apart from that, all the other characters are great, the narration was fantastic and the story is pretty gripping and difficult to guess. Worth a listen if you can stand how annoying Lake is..

Great second book
Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series I moved swiftly onto the second. We left the previous book on a cliffhanger with our two main leads once again in the “hate zone”.
For most of this book Lake and Kieran are fighting each other, for what exactly I’m not sure. Lake irritated me somewhat in her persistent belief that Kieran was guilty of murder, and her incessant need to send him to prison for it. I actually found her irritating and childish in this book (which I hadn’t done in the first), she seemed to be devoid of rational thought, and I wondered what K saw in her. She was naive in the extreme, and even when she knew a little bit about K’s past she didn’t seem to recognise the dangers (from others not K). Also the aunt was irritating, leaving her ward for weeks on end, then suddenly deciding to be a parent again! She did at least come good in the end.
We get to hear the voice of K in this book, and get a much better understanding of his past and why he does the things he does. There is quite an interwoven plot, with a lot of cross points between characters, all of which is linked to K’s past. I accept that K is somewhat broken but he isn’t as broken as he thinks. At the end of all this he is a victim, and a survivor so he should give himself a break. There is a much stronger “consent” trail in this book than the first.
There is quite a lot of drama and action in this book, which most of the plot lines closed off, and although there isn’t a cliff hanger as such, there are some threads left running though for the next books. As before though it’s not a light book, there are very heavy themes, and not for the feint of heart.
As always Ava and Teddy did a great job of narration.
Looking forward to Keenan’s story next.
