Captivating legal thriller
One of the most entertaining legal thrillers I have read/listened to. Never a dull moment and had me absorbed throughout. Highly recommended. Narration by Adam Sims is second to none.

Complex and satisfying
Steve Cavanagh has really nailed the courtroom drama in a series of fictional stories that have more than a ring of truth.
He features a cast of recurring characters and this book is subsequent to one where a significant individual is no longer with us. Each book works well as a stand alone but there is definite character development as the series progresses.
Flynn is a renegade lawyer. Experienced as a former con artist and trickster, his background is lively. He brings his skills to the investigation and courtroom in an entirely different way.
I loved this story which kept me guessing from the outset. Two sisters, a dead dad and phone calls from each to emergency services saying the other sister had killed the father. It’s an interesting premise and it worked consistently as events unfold. The plot is complex and I had no idea which was the true story as the court case unfolded. Two sisters on trial; who did it and why and how can it be proven? Gripping from start to finish.
