HOW DO YOU FIX A HORSE RACE?

Life is passing Holly Grant by. She had dreams of being a journalist. Now in her late twenties, she's a bored office worker. But on her train home, Holly has eight thousand pounds drop into her lap, along with a curious note. Poor recording

Unfortunately this recording has a tinny sound, the narrator has a flat delivery and seems disinterested. I tried to stick with it but couldn’t get past Chapter 10. A shame because the story has potential to be a good listen. I will be returning it.
