Story
The thoughtful and unique new novel from the phenomenally popular author. Journalist Kitty Logan’s career is being destroyed by scandal - and now she faces losing the woman who guided and taught her everything she knew. At her terminally ill friend’s bedside, Kitty asks - what is the one story she always wanted to write? The answer lies in a file buried in Constance’s office: a list of one hundred names. a good listen
It was great. It was gripping and very well read. The only reason it lost a star was because it was a little predictable, being so like the hunger games. Maybe if I'd read this first...
Also it struck me instantly that as people with a fully functioning conscience, if they stuck by their innate understanding of right and wrong they would not be ashamed of/judgemental about being branded flawed and so the verdict would cease to hold any real power over society
