Summary
The New York Times best-selling, brilliantly crafted crime-thriller sequel to the number one debut of 2019, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder.
Pip Fitz-Amobi is not a detective anymore.
With the help of Ravi Singh, she released a true-crime podcast about the murder case they solved together last year. The podcast has gone viral, yet Pip insists her investigating days are behind her.
But she will have to break that promise when someone she knows goes missing. Jamie Reynolds has disappeared, but the police won’t do anything about it. And if they won’t look for Jamie, then Pip will, uncovering more of her town’s dark secrets along the way, and this time everyone is listening.
But will she find him before it’s too late?
Perfect for fans of One of Us Is Lying, Eva Dolan, C L Taylor, We Were Liars and Riverdale.

THE BEST BOOK EVER!!
Woah! The best book ever!!!! It’s so intriguing and emotional and sooo amazing! I cried at the end! 100% recommended! Reader has a great voice! Much better than the first book. So awesome! Maybe suggest a little over 12 because there is quite a few swear words in this but it’s soo awesome despite the words. The start is a bit boring and monotonous but then it just gets insane!!! Love this book. Must listen!!!!

Good read
Book 1: Incredible, read it in 24hrs!
Book 2: This one was also good but took longer to read, felt like it was dragging at one point but I wasn’t expecting that ending!
Also if there’s a podcast like Pips anywhere someone needs to let me know

Just as good as the first book
Loving this series so far! I read the first book (paper copy) and could not put it down. Decided to give the audio of the 2nd book a go and I was not disappointed. Great story and engaging performance, cannot wait to listen to the 3rd book.

Quite disappointed
That is not as good as the first book. It sort of repeats all the weak points of the first book. It’s not as engaging and doesn’t really flow.
Pips voice has got more shrill and has become quite grating. I’m 4 hours in and it feels like barely anything has happened. I didn’t enjoy the ending of the first book and this sort of continues that “worthy” theme.
I liked the first book, but won’t finish this as it feels like it has been written under time pressure to make the publishers money. It kind of feels quite limp and at points quite odd.
For me Not worth the hype and I really wanted it to be good.

Not as good as the first one
Although the characters are way below my age group I did enjoy the first book of these series (possibly due to the very good performance) however this one felt a little bit dull and prep school annoying (in spite of more swear words :-). I
Would still recommend it for young adults however myself I will not be attempting to try to listen to the part 3 any time soon.

Great narration and perfect plot
Love Pip and still love her after book 2! I'm really picky with narration but it's been brilliant for both books. Find myself wanting to listen rather than read these books because I love the narration so much. Great story once again and the many plot twists kept me guessing!
