About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
Challenge their beliefs; change the world
If you are a vegan, you’ll know all too well how provocative it can be – you never know when you’ll be challenged or how. But being able to face down and rebut arguments against veganism is hugely important. Not just because many of the arguments lack substance, but because every interaction provides a pivotal moment to create change.
How to Argue With a Meat Eater will teach you to not only become a skilled debater, sharing the secrets of renowned vegan educator Ed Winters, but it will arm you with powerful facts and insights that will give pause to even the most devout meat eater.
Providing you with the knowledge to become a better conversationalist and critical thinker, and the motivation to create a more ethical, kind and sustainable world, let this book be your guide and inspiration to know that, no matter what the argument, you can win every time.
An empowering and deeply informative book – Moby

Fantastic Book
An intelligent, persuasive and exhaustively researched case for the vegan lifestyle. Lots of detail and in depth discussion yet still accessible.

Great and informative
This book will help me to communicate the importance of veganism. It educated me about what to say when answering certain meat eaters comments.

Beautifully written, inspirational
What an absolutely fantastic book, well written, beautifully read by Ed and absolutely essential read for vegans and non-vegans alike. There is absolutely no reason everybody can’t have a go at changing the way they eat for the planet, the health and especially our lovely animals. Well done Ed

Life changing
This is a book you can consume in bite sized pieces or all at once. It answers every question with logical factual detail, and encourages a different viewpoint on concepts that blew my mind (with plenty of ‘how did I not realise this already?!’ Etc.). It’s a book for everyone from every walk of life. It’s impossible to walk away without learning such valuable and important lessons.

Ed is Great. The book a nice manifestation of his insight.
Came across Ed on YouTube. He quite often keeps me from returning to my pre uni opinion on food.
I realised he’d written this book during one of his tv interviews. Every year while doing veganuary I update myself with the current vegan propaganda.
This year his book filled the void.
Ed is certainly a beacon of light . A virtuoso on the topic and a fantastic reader making listening to this was a pleasure.
Overall for me I was looking for more points on nutrition, and environmental factors. Which I wish he’d gone into more detail on.
I have heard a lot of his points before. A revision at points in others the statistics and statements are ye opening. This book is the perfect starting place for anyone looking into the lifestyle change and finds themself in dinner table brawls.
I really like how it's laid out into the archetypes of vegan criticisers. Well done Ed.
I’d recommend this book and Ultra processed people by Chris Van tulleken.

Dinner Table Bible
Ed does a fantastic job of going through all the nonsense spouted at vegans and the bunk studies they are based on. Worth several listens if you are facing prejudice or wish to help educate people.

Fantastic listen, obviously I'm a bit biased because I'm vegan!
Ed's reading, humour and information provided in this audible listen is spectacular and a must listen for anyone that is vegan, thinking of going vegan, or are against veganism for whatever reason!
