Brilliant and full of research

This is a really great book. I love the way everything is backed up with loads of research and statistics so it’s not just someone spouting their opinion. Even though it’s very in depth at times, it’s presented in such a way that feels easy to follow and understand. The main thing I appreciate though is how non judgmental Simon is. He encourages you to make healthy choices but seems far more realistic about accepting that we sometimes will eat some less than ideal food, because that’s just life!
Really excellent narration, superb content, and the pdf download is well presented too.

Brilliant breakdown of known science

I have listened to Simon’s podcast from episode one so was eagerly waiting this book.
I was not disappointed.
Having bought the hardback copy but not finished was super excited to get this.
Listening to Simon explain all the relevant facts in a totally non judgemental way was a dream. He breaks down all the jargon into such understandable chunks.
If you are thinking of a plantbased lifestyle this is a brilliant health related book to start with.
All the nutrition is beautifully explained. Will definitely listen again making highlights in the physical copy next time.
Stunningly well written and narrated book. Simons’s gentle Australian accent is lovely to listen to

Very informative

I’ve been following Simon hills podcasts for a couple of years now , so inspiring and he has some great guests , among them many renowned Drs and scientist , it’s great to have all the info in one audiobook , well done Simon !

Inclusion of planet's health marks this one out among other books in the same genre. The chapter on essential micronutrients is also unique.

An absolute must!

I have been listening to Simon’s podcast for a good while and was very excited to finally get hold of this book.

True to form Simon has produced an incredible piece of work that is an absolute must on every book shelf and every audible playlist.

His in depth understanding of the science behind nutrition, your health, and maximising your diet for both yours and the planets benefit is awe inspiring.

You can be confident that the information is presented in a way that instils confidence and conviction and inspires you to make a change in your life.

Compelling

This is clearly a well researched and scientifically backed piece of work. It is yet more proof that my new plant based lifestyle is the right choice for the planet, the animals and myself. I can't really believe it took so long for the penny to drop, but drop it has.
