About this listen
The second novel in a hot new urban fantasy series that reviewers are describing as "packed full of action, emotion, and powerful writing!"
Fen is a half-werewolf who's lost her pack. All she wants is a home and an ordinary human life, which means seeking out the deadbeat mom who abandoned her a decade ago.
Her journey takes her to a simple small town that's serene on the outside yet contains a rotten core of complicated danger. A stalker, a bomb threat, and a rogue shifter keep her hopping, but Fen's greatest struggle lies within her own heart.
Will she be able mend her relationship with her mom and find a place to belong...and can she do so without risking her mother's life?
USA Today best-selling author Aimee Easterling's Alpha Underground trilogy begins with Half Wolf, continues with Lone Wolf Dawn, and concludes with Wolf Landing.

Immersive werewolf action, even better than book 1
When half wolf-shifter Fen's mate forces her into making contact with her estranged mother, he proverbial hits the fan very quickly. Her mate's away on duty, her mother gains a stalker, there's a young rogue on the loose, and Fen's soon under suspicion from the town law enforcement. Can she bring the rogue under her wing, discover who bears a grudge against her mother, and stay out of jail - all without letting everyone know there are werewolves in their midst?
As before, Aimee's writing style focuses heavily on the inner thoughts, urges, and byplay between Fen and her submerged inner wolf, and her mental links to her mate and other werewolves, really immersing you in what it might be like to be a two-natured shifter, part human and part animal. And this story is even more engaging than the last. I absolutely loved it!
