About this listen
When my best friend and I fell for the same guy in middle school, I stepped back.
I'd always expected to dance at their wedding.
Not sit in the back pew of her funeral.
I left town for my own reasons, but now that I'm back, it’s clear Sebastian Montgomery isn't the same man I left.
He's hard. Broken.
And a single father to an adorable little girl.
When it turns out he’s my new neighbor, I can’t stay away.
But I know I’m playing with fire and the heat between us burns enough to scorch.
I thought I was over my crush.
But now it might crush me.

Sweet
I just knew that Sebastian's story would rip my heart out after how At First Meet ended.
The story of Sebastian, Raven and of course the enchanting Nora is just that...enchanting.
Any story shrouded in grief is going to inspire some reflection and Longtime Crush is no different. Once again though, the strength of the bond shared by the extended Montgomery family carries this story along nicely.
Raven has always been part of that 'family' even although she's been absent for a few years.
The change in relationship from friends to lovers is inevitable, or in fact a foregone conclusion. Everyone else sees it but those closest to it!
Initially a story that is shrouded in sadness moving to happier times for everyone.
Such a nice way to spend a summer afternoon!

Amazing but heartbreaking
Absolutely amazing book. Been looking forward to this but at same time didn’t want to go through losing Marley and Sebastian and Nora having their story with her.
Carrie Ann Ryan does a beautiful job telling these heart retching stories but having a lovely ending at same time.
Absolutely love the Montgomery series

Sebastian and Raven
Sebastian and Raven's story was one full of heartache, longing, and love worth fighting for!
This story gripped my emotions in the prologue and my heart broke for Sebastian and Nora. Enduring such a tragic loss on what should be a happy day changed their life but I loved the special bond Sebastian and Nora had.
The story then jumps ahead 5 years where we see the strong and devoted Dad, Sebastian has become. Moving forward in life and dealing with such a tragic loss isn't easy, and especially with how Marley's parents behave. The Montgomery family is one of my favorite fiction families and I always enjoy how they support and help those in their family. Sebastian's childhood friend, Raven, has moved back home and although some things were a rocky start you could feel their attraction throughout. Raven and Nora become quick buddies and Raven's unrequited love may not be an issue. The ending did feel a little rushed with the events that occurred in the last 20% or so but overall a great listen and one I would recommend!
Narrated by Connor Crais and Meg Sylvan this was a quick listen with an enjoyable storyline. Both narrators portrayed their characters well.

Dont hesitate listen today
Oh Carrie Ann Ryan, you know how to have me crying, Laughing and swooning all in one book. This was such a surprise in that I usually dont love books where the main character has lost a partner but this was just so amazing. I couldnt pause it and although i did cry so much at the start by the end I was so happy with how it worked out.
A wonderful listen.

Sebastian 💕
I can’t get enough of the Montgomerys. Every book is filled with romance and a bit of adventure or suspense in this case. Sebastian and Nora are adorable. They have had a tough time being just the two of them without Nora’s mom. Then a blast from the past comes back to town. I loved it, specially the family moments. And the voices! I think I am in love with Connor Crais.

be prepared to fall in love with Nora 💕
Raven and Sebastian have waited years for their story, even if they didn't realise they would get their own romance. Love all the characters as always but Nora has stolen my heart. She's such a sweetie, but how can she be anything else with Seb as her daddy and being Montgomery? As always with Ms Ryan, my heart was destroyed but I know she takes care of it when she puts it back together. She is a savant of wordsmiths and is always a one click author. She never disappoints.
I just sit back, pick up my crochet/knitting and drift off into the world of Montgomery's
