About this listen
In Loving Mr. Darcy, Darcy and Lizzy venture away from Pemberley to journey through England, finding friends, relatives, fun, love, and an even deeper and more sacred bond along the way. Having embarked on the greatest adventure of all - marriage and the start of a new life together - now the Darcys take the listener on a journey through a time of prosperity, enjoyment, and security. They experience all the adventures of travel, with friends and relatives providing both companionship and complications, and with fun as their focus. The sights and sounds, tastes and flavors of Regency England come alive in this romantic historical novel. Through it all, Darcy and Lizzy continue to build a marriage filled with romance, sensuality, and the beauty of a deep, abiding love.

Mills and boon
I usually like this author, but this tips into ridiculous. Darcy and Lizzys ode of their love are just too much! I thought it was maybe the narration as very picky, but the fact i managed to the end and her performance of the last chapter was excellent suggest it wasn't.
Lots of steamy bits but euphemism a plenty. Talk of the most erotic act is described as their 'joining in rapture'.
Geography of Britain was irksome, which irritates me as such effort is applied when writing a book but going to a map and working out proximity of London and Derbyshire, Kent to Longbourne seems a simple check, I think only one or two authors have got it right. (I often wonder why authors don't simply have grown up bennet sisters housed a days ride each between Derbyshire and Longbourne, would be useful to subplots and very comical, sisters sending missives that Lydia or Mrs Bennett is on the move).
The plot is lack lustre and each time it builds, peaters out like a slow puncture.
I was simultaneously reading another bookin Kindle so listened to this one only in the car or when cleaning the house , (The Darcys series by Linda Beddoli) which is excellent, ironically the story appeared to mimic the first half of this one, but without the exciting, saddest or best bits.
It was uncanny at times??
Sorry to do such a stinging review, but for me, an avid obsessed P&P fan, it wasn't worth the credit. Kudos to the Narrator though, although too RP for my liking in general, character voices OK, last chapter excellent! I managed to listen to the end, most don't get me past the first chapter)

Just a very boring romantic novel
Remembering D'Arcy in P and P, this is all about D'Arcy and Lizi's excessive love and sex.
Too much!

Romance on Steroids part 2!
Again I remind readers it’s fan fiction so expect sex! Again not much time has passed since the marriage so why wouldn’t they be besotted with one another and at it like rabbits?! I think the story is getting a bit annoying with the amount of devotion the pair have for each other, but if you like chic flicks and romance you’ll be happy! Again however, I offer the warning, in our modern world the devotion and amount of physical expressions of such will appear unrealistic and make one lacking in romance in their relationships feel unfulfilled!
Remember this is FICTION and the example of this being an Aspirational relationship to someone to have for themselves is unrealistic to materialise!

Mills and Boon meets fifty shades of grey
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Considering I listened to the first book in the saga and quite enjoyed it, I then read the review and it did change my perception of the book.
Going into this book with the reviews from book 1 in mind, I quickly became aware that the non stop sex scenes become very monotonous, boring and repetitive. Also if I hear "my heart" " my love" "my soul" once more, I'll be sick.
Having more of an understanding of the original darcy and Elizabeth, most of the book becomes quite annoying. If I wanted to read ongoing sex scenes ( which I don't), I can go to fifty shades.
Won't be listening the final saga.
