Love Love Love the Ivy House Crew

I love this series of books so much that I have both the ebooks and the audios for each one released so far! K F Breene has a unique storytelling ability and Nicole Poole delivers the narration amazingly! The books are funny, entertaining, action packed and the characters so engaging and quirky! Cannot wait for the next book! Queen Breene rocks!

i love this series and listened to this one in 3 days. i like the narrator. Mr Tom and basset hound are my favourite characters. Good humour throughout the series.

So so good!

This series has to be one if the best I've ever encountered. The plot, the characters, the jokes, the interplay and intrigue, the world building, the surprise twists! I am so so pleased to know there'll be more. I shall wait with bated breath to get see my Ivy House friends again. Happy sigh!

I love this book!!! It is hard to go wrong when you have such an awesome character collection and i think the author have done a great job with this book. This book give us a little peek in to the magical society s ins an ups. The crew is reading up on how to act, who to impress and who to ignore. While only giving Jessie the minimal information so that she can shine with her weirdnes and proceed as a strong power player.
This book is full of humor and plotting and amazing well rounded characters. I will recommend that you start reading it now you wont regret.

A Fitting Showdown For Our Midlife Warrior Queen.

I love this series and K. F. Breene's writing style. Her stories tick every box for me. An intelligent writing style that's easy to read. Check. Protagonists with depth and credibility, personality traits that draw me in. Check. Great wealth of characters in the supporting cast. Check. Believable background story and setting with a plot that has a balanced mix of relationship, tension, action, humour and mystery. Check, check and check.

Magical Midlife Meeting is a fantastic audiobook.

As a menopausal woman with the big 5-0 looming on the horizon, I love that this series has an older protagonist and supporting characters. Jess is a woman who's comfortable in her own skin and has the confidence of life experience behind her. However, I love how she's growing into the world's most powerful mage. The way Jess treats people hasn't changed and her love for her Ivy House family is beautiful. However, my favourite aspect of this story was how her relationship with Austin evolved. Wow! Heart-melting AND panty-drenching in equal measures.

Hollie Jackson is one of the best narrators I've come across. Her performance while reading this book brought the story to life. I liked the pace at which she read and the emotions she conveyed. There are some very unique characters in this book (series), and the voices she created for them all were impressive. Their personality shone through. Edgar, Mr Tom and Neve are wonderful examples of her talent. Hollie transported me into each and every scene and I really enjoyed her performance.

Magical Midlife Meeting builds on the previous books. The threads running through the series and the ones that began and ended in this one were enthralling. I loved listening to Jess fight her way through the pompous world of mages. I rallied, laughed, cried and swooned along with her.

Due to the graphic nature of the fights and sex scenes, I'd recommend this book to adults who are OK with this sort of thing. But if you enjoy coming-of-age stories for older, independent, capable heroines and strong alpha heroes, with a generous helping of banter, humour and realistic issues for the over 40s within a paranormal adventure, then this book may be your next favourite read.
