Summary
I know who took my daughter. Only his mother can help me....
My little girl’s room is dark. Her bed is empty. I turn on her unicorn nightlight and bury my face in her pillow, my heart breaking.
I know who did this. His name is Samuel Barlow. He has pale sallow skin and red-rimmed icy-blue eyes. But no one will listen.
As darkness falls and rain lashes against the window, there’s a knock at my door and I open it to see those same eyes staring back at me. It’s his mother and she says she can help me find my daughter.
My gut feeling says don’t trust her.
But as hopes of finding my little girl fade with each passing hour, how can I turn away?
A completely gripping and twist-packed listen from the number one best-selling author K.L. Slater. If you like Liane Moriarty and Lisa Jewell you will be totally hooked on Missing.

Fantastic
This author is sooo good! Have read many of her books. Really glad to have found this. Couldn't find anything to criticise, great plot, great narration. Loved it!

Annoying narrator
Bratty voice for Ivy and masculine voice for Josie :/ it's really off putting so i won't be able to finish this book unfortunately.

Good story spoiled by the narrator
I enjoyed the story though found it hard to have any empathy with the main character. I also hated the narration. It was extremely painful to listen to and the voice of the elderly woman sounded like an old witch. A good story spoiled by a bad narrator who made the book very depressing to listen to. Will avoid this narrator in the future.

Best book for months
This is the best I’ve listened to out my last five books. Grabbed me from the beginning and finished it over a few days. It wasn’t terrifying or scary, a few twists, although at times a bit unbelievable but an enjoyable listen. Narration was great. Worthy of a credit.

Gripping with a twist to the tale.
Excellent book kept me enthralled to the last word. Unpredictable twists to the tale. Well worth a listen!

Entertaining
Entertaining although some of the narration was odd and often I didn’t know who was speaking. The ending was interminable! Every time I thought it had to be over there was yet another chapter (constantly inducing eye rolls), much of which was extremely repetitive, padded or added nothing and that spoiled it for me.

Gripping!!!
K L Slater, as always never disappoints! I was glued to this book from the very beginning!
I couldn't stop listening! The twists and turns and unexpected surprises is nothing new from Slater. Loved it! Never disappoints!

Great plot to keep you guessing
I really enjoyed this audiobook. I really liked all the characters and how each of the mothers were very different. I found the narration to be easy listening and overall the story was captivating.

Narrator slightly hysterical at times..
I have read/listened to the many books by this author.. Overall, they are good. Plots usually have twists and turns as with this story, and involve a psychological element. Narrator can become slightly over enthusiastic/hysterical at times, but personally, this doesn't spoil the overall experience. Definitely worth a listen.
