Summary

Cleo Forsum is a best-selling novelist turned scriptwriter whose TV series The Baking Detective is a huge success. Writing is all she's ever wanted to do, and baking and murder stories have proved a winning combination.

But now she has decided to walk away from it all—including divorcing her husband, Wallace—before her past secrets catch up with her.

As Cleo drafts the final ever episodes of the series, people she knows start getting hurt. And it's soon clear that someone is trying to frame her for murder.

She thinks she knows why, but Cleo can't tell the police or prove her innocence. Because then she'd have to confess about her other husband....

A series of terrifying murders. A set of complex lies.

And a woman with no way to clear her name.

My Other Husband is another gripping thriller from the Queen of the Big Reveal.

Really enjoyed it!

This was the first book I listened to by Dorothy Koomson, and I really loved it!! Brilliant characters, fantastic storyline, it kept me entertained for days and I was gripped! I’ll be buying more books of Dorothy’s!
I also loved the Q&A with the author at the end of the book, it’s nice to get to know her a bit!

Hard listening

Storyline a bit confusing. Jumping back and forward to different years. Irrelevant fluffing out of the story in my opinion.Disappointing end.

A gripping read

I have read all of Koomson's books but I was a bit wary of this one as I read some poor reviews. I am so pleased I ignored those as this book was brilliant. I love the story and how everything twisted and turns. The narrators are excellent and read the book in a way that had be gripped.

Another lovely read

I really enjoyed this book just like all the other books I have read by Dorothy Koomson, however I did find myself feeling this much was much like the few before this one. There were some similarities especially the whole going between past and present but I still enjoyed the story and the performance on the audible just incredible!
looking forward to the next one Dorothy!

A great read, good twists, fab narration

Don’t let the slow start put you off if you’re all about riding the roller coaster from page one. A racehorse might get you to the finish line quicker but a good horse at a gentle gallop stops you falling off before you get there 😉 It’s all necessary to build up the background and characters. It does quicken once familiarity with the characters has been garnered.

Switching between time zones/years worked very well in explaining the marriage between past and present.

I am new to Dorothy and I will most definitely be adding her books to my wish list pending more credits available. I am so pleased to find a new author who can be added to my “binge listening” list. Also great narration and clear definition between characters which is a must if we are to keep with the story in audible format.

Another amazing book that keeps you guessing to the end

Really enjoyed this book! It kept me guessing in the end and again I never who have guessed the murderer. Great ending though I thought it was going to end another way.

Classic Koomson

Compared to "I Know What..." there is far less threads to keep track of, making it easier to follow. Some of the minor characters are a bit one dimensional, but not enough to spoil the fun.of a good story with decent plots.

Utterly non-pause-able (could not put it down)

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I could not see where the story was going and I like that from a book. I am new to Dorothy and will definitely be reading more of her books. Finding Dorothy is akin, for me, to having been introduced to Lucinda Riley, I enjoyed My other husband that much.

You just know that in spite of her childhood trauma, Lola is going to take over the world one day.
