Summary

The number one best-selling series that Audible listeners call “wonderfully entertaining”, “packed with humor, geek references and thought-provoking storylines”, and performed by “a true master story teller and actor” returns as the Bobs face their deadliest challenge yet.

The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all.

But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy. Sure, it could settle the Fermi Paradox for good (and what Bob doesn’t want to solve a mystery of the universe?). But it also reveals a threat to the galaxy greater than anything the Bobs could have imagined.

Just another average day in the Bobiverse.

Better than ever!

One of my favourite series ever, book 4 was probably my least favourite if you can say that as it was still really good but then listening to this brings back memories of how much I enjoyed the first one. Ray Porter delivers as usual and Mr Taylor hasn’t let me down with the story!!!

Another Bob Story

If you liked the others you will like this. It's a bit more of the same but with some good new ideas.

Funny and exciting.

Continues the complicated adventures of Bob and his legion of decendents. Note to author, Ray Porter is great as the narrator of this series, perfect in fact , but you have to rope R C Bray in as a "special guest" to do the voice of Thoth when he finally speaks, you just know you do!

A great addition to the Bobiverse

This book has all the characters from the previous ones and follows three main storylines. I hope that we don't have to wait too long for the next installment. Five stars for the story and five for the narrator

As good as ever

My favourite series by far. This addition does not disapoint.
Especially happy with the new storylines and the avoidance of standard tropes concerning AI

Expansive story

I have read all the Bobiverse books so far and they get better every time. This one left me wanting more answers to more questions so I hope there will be more books to come. Ray Porter does a fantastic job as the voice of Bob, I can’t imagine hearing anyone else doing it. This book has plenty of sub plots that nicely tie in to the overall story.

Such a great follow on for the rest of the series. please write the next installment soon!

I came into this series of books only last month and have already listened to all the other books twice. This one has a great arc and I am hoping that the next one continues it and brings back all our favourite species to see if any living species has any actual sense.

Good one

This time around, the Bobbiverse has to contend with nothing less than the mother of all disasters... while having to juggle with some side adventures, a crazy AI and the usual problematic ones: the bios... Overall, a very good read that is highly recommended!
