Post apocalyptic archer!
This book is amazing. It follows a level headed MC who seems more at home living in the system than out.
Jack takes an unusual class of an archer and is a total badass. Similarly, some side characters show unique and interesting growth. I particularly like how the author uses different POV's when describing the events of certain side characters.
Finally, TB the narrator did a fantastic job as usual. I can't wait for book 2!

Nice intro to what looks like a good story
Very well set up end of the world/ start of the "multiverse" style series, great narration and reasonable progression.
Hope the series continues in a similar vein.

Villy and Jake... such a good laugh and the battles Wow... Very well written can't wait for book 8. I'm hyped!!!

best lot RPG I've read so far
I started this after He Who Fights With Monsters 1-7. this is better. I found book 3 of The Primal Hunter a bit slow, but it sets up book 4 well, I've pre-order book 5 now. The main character is a little thin on character to in book one, but that gets better as the series goes on.

Fantastic Book, also a little Easter egg!
Fantastic book, I've struggled with LitRPG's in the past,however,this was a breathe of fresh air!
p.s, lovely nod towards the late Chester Bennington's song one more light in chapter 70!

Unique Storytelling
This performance felt like I was my own character in a game like Runescape or playing a tabletop RPG. It was like the Halo books in that you are basically listening to (extremely well) narrorated game-play. I really enjoyed this story and I am very happy there's more books in the works!
