Critic reviews

‘Nate is the wielder of a unique and delightful imagination’
– Adrian Tchaikovsky

‘This is a kind of Lonely Planet guide to the various sub-genres of SF and Fantasy, written as though the work of a crass, blundering hack journalist. It's splendidly satirical and hilariously funny, provided you don't mind literary sacred cows being slaughtered with gleeful, merciless abandon.’
Financial Times

‘A love letter to the worldbuilding of fantasy fiction’
Grimdark Magazine

Great guide for of planet travels

I was a little hesitant at first, because it was only a little over 7 hours, but I gave it a shot and do not regret it. Performance from voice actors are great and the storie itself is wonderfully fun with some depth, love it

excellent, hilarious

Loved every minute, the narrators are fab and story is hilarious, and the production of the audiobook is quite something.
Nate Crowley does a an excellent job at making me want to visit all these made up places, but also at making them recognisable enough that I can envision them from other books. WHAT a listen. Adored it. I want to immediately re-listen.
