Summary
When an aircraft piloted by Ben's former army comrade Nick Chapman crashed off the Cayman Islands killing everyone on board, the official line was that Chapman committed suicide. But things don't add up, and soon unfolding events point to something far more sinister going on. Following the trail of clues from the rugged Welsh borders to the Caribbean, Ben quickly discovers that some kinds of knowledge will get you killed - fast.

Disliked intensely but did finish
Gratuitous violence. “Hero” a killer, leaving a trail of dead bodies, some of whom did not need to die.
Story difficult to believe
Inaccuracies - has the author even been on a trislander plane or even looked at it’s configuration. There is no aisle.
Did want to see what happened in the end. If it had been a book would have looked at back page. As audio I speeded up the narration as fast as understandable.
Will definitely not recommend

Action adventure
Thoroughly enjoyed this action packed story where the hero it seems is indestructible on a similar vein to jack reacher. Well narrated.

Totally unbelievable.
The writer should read some of Mark Dawson's books to see how it's done. The book is totally unrealistic and full of macho b@@@@@@t.

Very enjoyable.
I listened to this story after finishing Book 19 in the Ben Hope series ... and whilst waiting for the new book due out soon ...
I didn’t really know what to expect - but it is a great story & helped me understand the main reasons why Ben resigned from the SAS. I highly recommend. Action adventure & really exciting & isnt too long if you prefer a shorter story.

Great prequel to the Ben Hope series
Really interesting story. Initially, after listing to the 20+ books narrated by Colin Mace, it was a bit jarring to hear Ben in the voice of Leyton Pugh. But, as the story settled into a familiar rhythm and the plot thickened with each chapter, this fades away. I really enjoyed the story and heartily recommend it.
