Summary

As a teenager, Jeannie MacGregor ran away from her brother’s remote mountain cabin in Wyoming and went back to live with her aunt in Baltimore. She needs some sort of social life to meet her future husband. When the first man she finds interesting rejects her, she turns to the next man who shows her attention. Is Linden Olsen everything he seems to be - suave, gallant, wealthy, and from high society, or will she just end up returning to Wyoming in a series of events that leave her reeling?

Jeannie and Phillip!

Janice Cole Hopkins always brings the best stories to life. This features Ian's sister Jeannie. As a teenager, she was tired and lonely living in the cabin with Ian, and decides to make her way back to Maryland. There she will stay with her aunt and decide what her next step is. After several attempts at love, she finds her way back to the cabin, only her life has been irrevocably changed. Now to find true love seems impossible, or is it? I love this story for a couple of reasons. Seeing Ian and Elisa again is a pleasure. Their love truly shines through each scene. Then Jeannie we have Jeannie. Her strength and resilience is to be commended. She has a lot to deal with, and she keeps her priorities in order and her life on track.Linden I don't even want to talk about! He shows his character and it may not be exactly what Jeannie is looking for. Phillip is a wonderful addition, full of truth and honesty. He sees and loves Jeannie for who she is. This is a beautiful love story!

Jennifer Groberg is a wonderful narrator and brings this gem to life. Each voice perfectly suited to the character, she creates Jeannie's world. I love her story telling and always look forward to her narrations.
