WOW. This is Amazing
I love it. I knew that herbs have benefits to health, but this book covers all the herbs that you can find in our local grocery shop. It outlines each herb with its benefits and how it affects human health in a positive manner. I will continue to come back to this audio and use the remedies available. Let's get cooking!
I'm a foodie who loves to cook! My passion is cooking oriental and indian sub-continent food dishes andI use most of the spices in this book. But this was a truly fascinating insight into the added medicinal benefits that the spices can have for our health. I will be looking to utilise all of the spices mentioned from now on!

Excellent book
I love this book! This book gives so many useful information about various herbal remedies. It teaches you about healing powers of oregano, turmeric, cloves, cinnamon, etc. It goes into details about what each herb is good for, how it can help us and how to use it. This is a great reference book.

Useful and Informative
As someone who is trying to get healthier all around, this book has been huge in helping me get more familiar with spices and herbs and how they might benefit my journey. Honestly, I had no idea that there were so many benefits and I knew some of the healthiest, but am surprised by some others. I'll be utilizing this many times in the future.

Brilliant book - so clear and useful!
I just loved the overall comparison between synthetic medicine and the medicinal benefits of herbs and spices with the foundation in science. As well as detailing all the benefits, at the end of each herb review, details are given on what to avoid like high blood pressure etc, this is incredibly helpful.
The herbs, and benefits, to human health cover all the main things I was interested in, such as the herbs needed for the brain, skin, viruses, stress, and quite a few more. It means in this single book I am able to have a map to the herbal cures to all the common ailments…as well as a great tip on garlic and how to eat it without the lingering smell!
Really great book, not just very useful but also very easy to listen to.

I love this! 🌿
As a biologist, I strongly believe in the power of medicinal herbs. This book has a comprehensive list of the most used herbs and spices in medicine. I highly recommend it if you want to have a healthier life. And the narrator's voice is lovely and perfect for the topic.

Very helpful book
I got this book as I'm always interested in trying the non-medicine route when it comes to little aches and pains.
I already use quite a few herbs and spices listed in this book. For example, turmeric, coriander, garlic, ginger and I drink camomile tea also.
The author has put together a great list of herbs and spices and has given tips for use based on research talking about the origins of each herb and spice and their benefits.
Great little book to keep handy!

This book was an eye opener for me
I haven't really thought much about medicinal herbs and spices, but now that I am getting older and starting to creak a little, it is something that is beginning to interest me. This is the first time I have ever listened to anything on this subject, and it has definitely piqued my interest. The book gives a lot of detail about each item, which was exactly what I needed.

Evidence based approach ticks all the boxes
I grew up in a household where unless something was peer reviewed and verified by 57 different metanalyses, it couldn't possibly be true.
As I've grown older I've learned that things aren't as black or white when it comes to your health, and I've found a lot of value in plant based medical approaches for various ailments over the years.
Great to see things like cinnamon, turmeric and clove covered in here because those are the 3 that have benefitted me the most.
