A definite must have for parents!
This book is absolutely amazing. As a teacher I wanted to understand this diagnosis better to service my students. The book provides much more than the normal surface level literature available online and in teaching text. A real insight into the uniqueness of each child’s condition. I found the chapter on medication particularly insightful and how CBT is much more effective and safe, each chapter was very detailed and progressive. A definite must have for parents.

A great book for those who teach kids with ADHD
I am a teacher who has many children diagnosed and undiagnosed with ADHD. It is challenging to find a constructive way to teach them well. We must teach them the material in our curriculum and many other skills and important life lessons. They must learn to behave well in class, communicate with their teachers and other students, understand and constructively show their emotions without disrupting the teacher, understand why empathy is essential, and harness and use their hormonal imbalance in their favor. The book Raising Superstar Kids with ADHD gave me a lot of insight into how these children function and gave me a lot of tools to support, encourage, motivate, inspire and teach them how to thrive. The book is written from the perspective of a parent whose child went through all the trials and tribulations of ADHD and came out of these challenges as a winner. The writer did a lot of research on the topic and combined that knowledge with her real-life experience. This book gives concrete tools to help kids with ADHD, their parents, and their teachers. I highly recommend it to everybody who struggles with ADHD or has some contact with someone who has ADHD. Raising Superstar Kids with ADHD gave me a lot of ideas on how to cope with challenging situations and work with these kids in the future. It also helped me recognize a lot of undiagnosed kids, and I hope I will help them thrive. I have a kid in my class who has an assistant who helps him regulate his behavior, and she also loves the book. We can't wait to apply all the pieces of advice from the book.

So insightful!
This audiobook is filled with very practical and helpful advice. A diagnosis of ADHD can be extremely overwhelming for a parent. This is definitely a great resource for parents and professionals. I love how this book breaks down everything a parent with an ADHD child needs to know. Understanding your child’s ADHD brain is the first step to better understanding them so that you can nurture their qualities and future. In addition, the narrator makes it easy to digest this great resource! Thank you!

Learning to understand ADHD
It was great to listen to an audiobook with such an insightful and compassionate take on ADHD. The subject matter was presented clearly, making it easy to understand how a child with ADHD approaches and understands the world around them. It was packed with helpful knowledge and advice that would allow both children and their parents the opportunity to navigate life with ADHA effectively.

So so good!
There’s so much fantastic knowledge and research in this book. I thought the angle of seeing the strengths of kids with ADHD rather than just difficulties was also very poignant.
