Useful tool for parents with ADHD children
Studies show that 2.4 million (9.6 percent) school-age children aged 6 to 11 years and 3.3 million (13.6 percent) adolescents aged 12 to 17 years are diagnosed with ADHD. This is a large population, not including adults. There is quite a bit of stigma about ADHD children; however, this book provides really good information and advice on how parents could help children thrive in an environment that doesn't entirely support how they navigate the world. In this book, Elizabeth helps parents understand how the brain of ADHD children wire differently, teach them how to embrace their kids' unique character, and provide parents with strategies to better parent children with unique needs. Overall, the book is well structured and easy to stand.

I'm grateful to given this audible information.
Its contents were quite significant. The ADHD Complete Guide is an excellent place to start. Anyone should do this, in my opinion. It was a great surprise to find this audiobook. I find this CD to be very beneficial. Every night I had a restful sleep, which was helpful. It speaks in a natural and instructive manner.

Thoughtful and Practical
My kids and I both have ADHD. I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until after my children were. A lifetime of struggle became obvious. From the perspective of an undiagnosed youngster traveling through life to a parent of ADHD children, I found this right on and informative in so many ways. It has enhanced my life and the lives of my children by fostering connection and understanding. Life isn't flawless, and we still have challenges, but we handle them better and keep moving forward.

Just good helpful stuff
I learned a lot from this book that I was previously ignorant about. My kid, age 7, has had an ADHD diagnosis since he was five years old. We still battle every day. My focus has been maintained thanks to this book.

Children with ADHD
I feel a bit bad for all the things I did as the mother of a son with adhd; after all, no one loves to feel irritated, right? The tales of other children with adhd helped me understand my own child and taught me new things about the disorder. This book helped me realize that while I am just human, I can still improve myself and assist my son in developing the skills he needs to function in life.

Pointless and judgemental
This book offers nothing to assist parents in managing or offering parenting skills for those families with ADHD. It refers to the condition as an illness and sickness and this is absoloutely not what it is. The book also seems to infer that gestational diet and external factors like family life, stress levels can be causes and also that ignoring bad behaviour and rewarding good is the only real parenting method. I highly doubt anyone downloading this book is looking to understand the cause and for manh parents who have accepted a diagnosis for their child will be looking for pro-active parenting methods and coping mechanisms to help the child and the parent find an even balance.
