Summary
Random House present the audiobook edition of Run Away, written by Harlan Coben. The brilliant new thriller from the international best-selling author described by Dan Brown as 'the modern master of the hook and twist'.
You've lost your daughter.
She's addicted to drugs and to an abusive boyfriend. And she's made it clear that she doesn't want to be found.
Then, quite by chance, you see her busking in New York's Central Park.
But she's not the girl you remember. This woman is wasted, frightened and clearly in trouble.
You don't stop to think. You approach her, beg her to come home.
She runs.
And you follow her into a dark and dangerous world you never knew existed. Where criminal gangs rule, where drugs are the main currency and murder is commonplace.
Now it's your life on the line. And nowhere and no one is safe.

another great read from the master of suspense
I'm a huge Harlan Coben fan and have read all his books. This one may not be his best but it is still a great read. I never did manage to get all the plots, some which were a bit far fetched but this didn't deter from my enjoyment. I loved most of the characters and they were all well develooed as the story went on except Deedee and Ash. Steven Weber is a fantatic narrator he changes his tone enough you know who is speaking but does try too hard to put on accents which I find annoying with some narrators.

Ended suddenly
this book seemed to suddenly end and wrap up, like there was no gradual discoveries made leading up to the final mystery being solved.

Twists and turns
An intriguing story with authenticity and emotional death that gripped me right to the end. This is my second Harlan Coben and I will certainly read more of his books

Another cracker from Mr Coben
Superbly told, addictive, great characters, moral dilemmas, more twists and turns than a twisty- turny-thing. Highly recommended.
