Summary
Max wanted to be a [Baker].

A great story with a unique power scaling system
This was a great read from start to finish, the MC is relatable, with a unique way of gaining power.
There’s an undercurrent to the story that shows how the “big players” are moving in the background, while our MC, mostly oblivious, does what he needs to to survive and thrive.
I highly recommend this book and have already pre-ordered the second in the series.

I'm quite happy about this audiobook, it was fun and entertaining.
It was also great to hearthe narrator again as it's been a while since the last audiobook of Noobtown (I miss hearing that damn badger...), I'll be reading the rest of the series while waiting for the next audiobook ^^
I highly recommend this series to all litrpg fans, it's an easy read/listen and a great addition to the genre.

it is a grower not a shower
The heavens won't forsake you.
If you came for litrpg and action the author got you but it will take time.
But you know that all good things don't happen overnight.
My only problem is that this might be the worst thirst trap known to man but I have yet to know.
I bought the second audible then all other books in this series.
If I wasn't a simp before I am now, sorry mom.

pure story telling magic
Great story that starts off simple but leaves room for plenty of growth. laughs, chuckles and story telling at it's best

great story and unique system
Really good story, with nice narration - the female voices are a little meh but good enough for it not to take from the overall story. The writer seems to be super keen with the MC going to the toilet at the start which was a bit odd but kind of funny. No bad characters or anything I can think of and the MC is interesting

it's probably just me but the narrator was just to much with the random shouting. sometimes it makes it more exciting but mostly it's just off or makes the MC sound even more stupid. And yes the MC needs a lot more points into int! He does a lot of stupid things and then repeates them again for good measure... had potential but went somewhere else
