Truly Comprehensive Guide To Tai Chi

This is perhaps the most exhaustive book at any point expounded on yoga. The writer works really hard of depicting the five unique styles of yoga, and of showing the peruse who the best bosses of those styles were. The creator additionally works really hard of clarifying the Taoist way of thinking that made yoga and Qi Gong.

Helpful

Students, as they advanced, were invited to experiment with the combinations and invent their own techniques to teach them that adaptability was necessary for all martial situations. This approach, too, I found reflected in the author's book

jUST AMAZING

When teaching I always explained to my students that forms were the language of Martial Arts, classical combinations were the grammar of the Art, and what we called "Punch Techniques" were the examples of the rules of grammar.

Lovely

The following chapter on push hands is one that is welcome, as my experience in this exercise has been limited. It has opened my eyes to various techniques learned over the years and which I now see very differently and will improve my own studies immensely. The third section is a detailed explanation of the principles previously discussed as they apply to the fighting set, bringing theory and application together in a way that is easily understood by both new and experienced practitioners. Lovely.

The book is divided into three main sections, each a book in itself. The first is a study of the applications of various Tai Chi techniques that marry the health and martial theories. The author's writing is clear and concise, allowing the listener to gain insight into the movements.

Incredible

The introduction reinforces what I always thought to be true as I had my students learn the history and evolution of my mother's style, Chinese Kempo. Children's classes always ended in "story time" in which I told tales of various Masters, from different disciplines, that demonstrated an ethical approach to the application of the principles being taught.
