Summary
Former SAS Sergeant Major John Carr is relaxing on a Spanish beach, when a man with dark eyes attracts his attention. Fixated on a group of young Britons, the man doesn’t notice Carr and soon moves on.
Within the hour, the Costa del Sol will be plunged into one of the most audacious and horrifying terrorist attacks Europe has ever seen.
In a co-ordinated strike, armed men storm both the beach and a cruise ship anchored further up the coast. But the terrorists - hiding personal greed under the veil of religious extremism - have an even bolder plan.
Constrained by the sensitive political situation, MI6 and the Prime Minister must confront the possibility of leading a secret operation against a brutal enemy. And then find the right man to head it....
Enter John Carr.

You will not be disappointed
James Deagan is a very, very good author. The Angry Sea is fast-paced, detailed, at times darkly funny, and a damn fine book. John Carr, and other characters are developing on superbly from James’ 1st novel, Once A Pilgrim (itself, a 5 star read). Roll on book 3, and soon. Joshua Manning, take a bow.

Thrilling and Enthralling!
With Joshua Manning delivering Carr's brutal one-liners, this has to be one of the most enthralling and entertaining stories I have listed to in some time. Carr is an anti Bond, a dour blunt Scot who is totally ruthless. Just the sort of fella you need to rescue a few 'birds' and 'flatpack the c@nts who shot up that beach..."
Buying this book is a total 'no brainer'

Another great character to follow.
If you’re a fan of Reacher,Victor the assasin Spider Shepherd and Ben Hope,to name a few,you will love John Car.
Tough and gritty with a cold mind and warm heart.
Brilliantly written with twists and turns in the plot.
Can’t recommend this enough.

Brilliant!!! When will John Carr be back?!
I enjoyed John Carr’s first outing, altho it didn’t stand out hugely, but I had in mind that I’d listen to The Angry Sea at some point. Why did I wait so long?! This knocks spots of the first book - It’s really superb! The narration is excellent (with the exception of Scouse : l ) and the story brilliantly detailed, paced and thrilling. Once I was about a third of the way in I was struggling to put it down! This book really is standout! The initial story threads take a little while to weave together, but bear with... It’s well worth it!
