About this listen
Written by one of the world's leading baby loss support experts, The Baby Loss Guide is designed to help you navigate this complex issue. Whether you have personally encountered loss, or are supporting people through this harrowing time, this book provides practical and compassionate advice.
Zoe and her husband Andy have personally faced the loss of five babies. Out of their experiences came the charity The Mariposa Trust (more often known by its primary division Saying Goodbye), offering support to thousands of grieving parents and relatives around the world each week. In her first bestselling book, Saying Goodbye, Zoe wrote a moving account of their experiences and how they found a way through loss.
In The Baby Loss Guide Zoe provides a supportive and practical guide to walk people through their darkest days of suffering and give them hope for the future. The first half of the book answers the many questions those who encounter loss ask themselves and others, which until now have resulted in people spending hours exploring the internet to gain answers and insight. It is interlaced with personal stories from both men and women who have been there, and tackles the many myths, taboos and assumptions around loss. It also provides clear guidance and advice on how to navigate life following your world imploding, such as: How do I return to work? How do I know if or when I should try again for more children? How do I communicate with my partner about loss?
The second half of the book offers 60-days of practical and compassionate support. Whether someone's loss is recent or historic, this support is a precious gift that will help an individual walk the scary path of grief. Zoe's friendly and down to earth approach means she removes the often over used medical terminology, and this makes The Baby Loss Guide listenable, easy to absorb and a vital source of information and help.

This book saved me.
I love the audio book. In those early days when I couldn’t see never mind pick up a book to read, Zoe’s voice helped me through. Even now just past what should have been my babies due date I go back and listen to snippets on the hard days to help. Thank you Zoe. You’ve saved me, you continue to help and the audio has helped in ways I didn’t know I needed.

Such an amazing book
Such an essential book for anyone who has lost a child. Having lost my little girl one month ago I listened to this book as an audio book and my goodness it really resonated with me. I think every parent should be given a copy of this book after a loss.

My comfort book in my grief
Like the ending suggests, this book should be more available and given at hospitals. I live in Switzerland and it’s lucky that I came across this book by accident and can read it in English. My midwife approves it and hopes it to be translated so she can recommend/provide this book to her patients who aren’t fluent in English.

Every Human on Earth Should Read This Book!
I purchased this book after my second miscarriage following IVF. it was life change. prior to reading it I struggled alone with my thoughts and feelings. I felt isolated in my grief and wasn't able to express my thoughts or feelings to those close to me. I was clinically depressed, the low points were scary and there were times when I thought I would always be miserable. reading this book made me feel less alone, less crazy, and it normalised my grief without trivialising it. it gave me an opportunity to reflect on my own situation and I was able to hear stories from other women that helped me feel less like a failure. I sent links to the book to my husband and family and asked them to read the sections "Supporting the Bereaved" and "Proactive Advice for Family and Friends". It helped those around me get a tiny glimpse into what was going on in my head and heart. I honestly recommend this book and feel that every woman should have a Zoe in their life, she is incredible. let's talk about miscarriage and infertility openly, ditch the stigma, recognise that our self worth isn't about our ability to produce a biological child and then we can start to provide compassionate care and support for those who are going through such a specific type of grief.

Amazing support
A brilliant book that helps deal with the pain of loss. The author Zoe is holding your hand throughout the book and explains lots of detail around the difficult topic of baby loss. The little daily tasks are really helpful to help you deal with grief. Off to fill in my journal now. I know this book will definitely fix lots of broken hearts.
